This chef could be cooking at an expensive and uptight restaurant charging an outrageous amount of money...but he loves frying fish instead. Some of the best fish and chips you'll ever have.
Local tip: The fried fish is the star, but the co-owner is Filipina so take advantage of lumpia! If they happen to be serving their paella, RUN to get some!

Folks come to Nahville to pay homage to country (and they should!), but most folks don't know that Music City was also home to one of the most thriving Blues and R&B scenes in the country in the early 20th century before the North Nashville was torn apart by the construction of interstates. NMAAM is one of the best museums in the region that celebrates our nation's music.
Local tip: If you want to see more Black musicians also performing in country, check out the Black Opry.
