Central Richmond Living in a Victorian Apartment

The apartment is on the first floor (UK 'first floor' meaning it's above the ground-level floor) of a three story house on a very quiet street but only a few minutes walk into the heart of Richmond. Guests can utilize the entire apartment and the contents. I am happy to interface directly with my guests, or I am happy to do it remotely. I live in Richmond, so I can also be on hand if needed. The apartment is an easy five-minute walk from Richmond Centre. A mix of high-class boutiques and brand-name stores are found next to cafes, tea houses, gastropubs, bars, and award-winning restaurants. Transport links connect to central London. All services are safe, clean and efficient. Richmond Station is only a few minutes walk away (where taxis are always available), and provides three services: the traditional London Underground (25 – 30 mins into the centre), The London Overground (25 mins to North London / Hampstead), and regular train services either into Waterloo (20 mins) or out of London to wherever you wish to go! There are buses going south towards Kingston, and north towards Kew Gardens. The 391 and the 65 bus routes will take you smack through the centre of Richmond and Kew all the way across Kew Bridge to Chiswick and beyond. If you are in the mood for a stroll, Richmond Park is 10 minutes walk away and the river is also about 10 minutes - great for a wander along in summer while sampling the pubs and bars. Richmond bridge takes you across to the charming St Margaret's area. The neighbours in the apartments below and above are very nice folks, so please do be mindful of them, particularly late at night when going in and out of the apartment!

Bringing a car on street parking is available and parking permits available. Close to the M4 with easy access to Windsor Castle, venue for many royal weddings. Also close by is Legoland Windsor, Richmond Park, Hampton Court Palace and Thames river walks

Overlooking the River Thames & Kew Gardens

Views to die for! Overlooking the Grand Union Canal and River Thames, this stylish apartment is set over two floors with a full width balcony to make the most of waterside living and views across the river to Kew Gardens on the far bank. Visiting Kew Gardens between November and January for the illuminated trail? The gardens are 10 minutes away on the 65 bus. Twickenham Stadium is a short bus ride away. A 10 minute walk away is Brentford Community Stadium.

Kew - light self contained room

We have a light, bright self contained room at the top of our terraced house. It has an en suite shower room plus light cooking facilities. It is located within easy reach of train station North Sheen or Kew Gardens tube. It is not far from the Records Office and Kew Gardens. Ideally we would prefer a longer let but happy to discuss. My husband and I plus our dog live in the bottom half of the house. We are none smokers and very friendly.
