The condo is in a great spot with some nice amenities. The tennis courts were empty, so it was easy to play if you wanted, and while I didn’t swim since it wasn’t the season, the pool looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The location is perfect—close to Bay Drive with the wide sound-side walking path and an easy walk to the monument. There are three flights of stairs to get to the unit (this was mentioned in the listing, so I knew ahead of time). I didn’t mind at all, and the upside is no one above you and amazing views from the porch. The condo is simple but had everything I needed, and I was very comfortable. It’s also absolutely spotless—they clearly put a lot of effort into keeping it clean, which was so reassuring. Easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much for hosting!

Really enjoyed our stay at Mark’s place. Great host. Super clean. Fenced backyard was big plus for dogs. Close to everything. Will stay again when back in the area. Thank you Mark!

This stay was absolutely wonderful for my husband and i + our dog. The woods behind the house are so pretty and peaceful and i wish we would’ve stayed a little longer to explore some more! The back porch was such a good wind down spot for us after a long drive and the whole place was so clean and cute! our dog is a traumatized rescue that has trouble making friends and their very friendly dog mojo was so kind to her and respected her personal bubble when she showed that she was feeling uncomfortable. The living room space was big enough for her kennel and provided a quiet comfy place for her to sleep all day while we explored the beautiful local area. We did not even see or hear the hosts despite the Airbnb being a part of their house and it felt very cozy and private.

This was our first air bnb experience and it was amazing. If you are ever considering on going to Outer Banks, look no further than this amazing place. Pat communicated with us from the very beginning til our arrival answering questions and making sure that we were prepared for coming to the Outer Banks. Pat was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. Everything showed just how thoughtful and intentional she is in making sure her guests have the best possible trip. We could not have asked for a better experience with everything. The access to the beach was so convenient and everything you could want was in walking distance. We will be back.

John and Shelly were wonderful hosts, sincerely taking care of their guests. Their place is ideal for a family. It was very quiet, cozy, and spacious, surrounded by greenery. The beds and furniture were so comfortable. Everything was where it should be, such as towels, cooking ingredients, utensils, coffee, and even Jenga! We had an unforgettable vacation there. We had a great time. Very nice place. Much better than a hotel. The host was extremely helpful. This was the first Airbnb for us and we would do this again. We enjoyed the area and it helped to have a tremendous place to stay.

Cannot recommend this apartment enough. Was the cleanest airbnb I have ever stepped foot in, hosts were wonderful, and the apartment was just like the pictures! Quick walk to the beach too with sooo many restaurants and actives right at the tip of your finger!

We had the most amazing stay! Rebecca was extremely communicative and made sure we knew everything we needed to! The place looked exactly as pictures and was very clean. It was a short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes) and the private pool was so nice to come back to! We would absolutely stay at one of Rebecca’s houses again!

This was our 3rd trip to the outerbanks. This house is a perfect location. Close walk to the beach, close to activities, resturants,etc. It was so nice that everything was so close. Loved having a washer and dryer at my disposal. The basement even has beach chairs,toys,cooler that we enjoyed while going to the beach. The only negative thing I can say is that the house had airfreshners plugged in when we arrived. So if you have asthma, it takes a day or so for the smell to go away after you unplug them. Other than that would definitely stay here again.

Everything was wonderful! We visit OBX every year and this may have been the greatest place yet. Beautiful beach, quiet surroundings, wonderful hot tub, everything we needed and more than we expected! Danielle was a great host. We and our kids (dogs) loved sitting on the porch and deck watching the pelicans, gulls, cormorants and dolphins. Absolutely a wonderful time. We highly recommend Danielle and the Castle. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen was my favorite part. It was so well stocked with quality equipment! The air conditioning was wonderful in both units. The two houses in one make it perfect for family that need a get away from the crowd from time to time. I can’t say enough good things about this house. The walk to the beach was super easy even with a 2 year old and 2 three year olds. Such a good place to play games with your loved ones, cook memorable meals and of course enjoy the beach.

The place was great for the 4 of us we came down for the OBX Rod and Custom festival and it was nice coming back to something that felt like a home and it was very modern as well. Props to this one definitely recommend!

We had a great stay. The fenced in back yard was wonderful with our dogs and was a peaceful place to sip our morning coffee.

Condo was in a great convenient location. Very spacious. We did a lot of sight seeing so didn’t spend a whole lot of time on site but it accommodated all of our needs!

The calm waves is super cozy and has everything a family with young kids needs (including some toys and baby proofing). It is in a great location that feels very family friendly and short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again!

We had a lovely time at the Dancing Dolphin. It was our first time going to outer banks so I was a little nervous as I wasn’t familiar with where we were going. The condo was very clean and all the little extras like shampoo and conditioner in the showers, fresh towels, beach towels, and linens were an added bonus that made it more enjoyable! The beach equipment in the storage unit was a lifesaver! The owners were great to communicate with and we had a great time!

The condo and oceanfront balcony were wonderful for myself and 94 yr old mother. Check in was a breeze and settled right in. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The “desk” was great for my mother that enjoys doing puzzles and coloring books. The condo was comfortable and the beds were too. Joe was always very responsive when needed. We will definitely be coming back. Great condo with a beautiful oceanfront balcony.

Exactly as expected, pictures say it all! Very clean, easy to communicate with the host, well appointed condo. With 4 kids, it can be tough to find something everyone likes to do, no problem with the recommendations and coupons! Thank you!! 2nd time booking with Rick in Duck. Perfect location, peaceful & quiet. Love the shower upgrade in the master bath!! His place never disappoints on the views & more important, comfort. We had a great stay!

Martin was a super responsive host. Anything we needed he was there to help. The place was gorgeous and in a really nice location. The unit was right next to the pool and tucked away from the main road. The pool was nice and it wasn't too crowded when we went. If you look really close you can see the ocean from the private balcony. Parking wasn't an issue for us. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Would 100% recommend staying here if you don't want to be right on the beach but close enough that it takes 3 minutes to drive the the beach access. Overall, this was the perfect place for our girls trip.
