Combe Martin was much quieter than we remember from our last visit but was so easy to get to Ilfracombe and other places we wanted to visit. Found great places to eat and drink close by in the village, amazing walks and views and locals were all so friendly. The house was just perfect with everything we needed. It was excellent to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for my Mum, who is a bit unsteady on her feet. The log burner was easy to use and incredibly efficient, a lovely way to end the day. The kitchen was really well designed. Nic and Rick were really responsive and the check in and out was straightforward and very relaxed. Thanks Nic and Rick for a perfect weekend stay!

does what it says on the tin. was very pleasantly surprised with the pressure of the shower and in a great location for exploring Cheltenham. We managed with a 1 and 4 year old and a dog but definitely would have been a small living space if we weren't out all day but it was as described and pictured. really handy for Waitrose and the swimming pool for the kids. great stay and super friendly and helpful host

We had a wonderful stay at The Bungalow! The property features a spacious, open-plan layout with large windows, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. The garden is a real highlight, wrapping around the entire house, and is secure, which gave us peace of mind with our dogs. However, it’s worth noting that the fence isn’t particularly high, so more determined dogs could potentially jump over it. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely, large shower. Our only suggestion would be to assess the kitchen equipment—specifically, the knives, as they weren’t very sharp. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and the property is perfectly located for exploring the stunning Forest of Dean. Highly recommend!

An unforgettable stay for a special occasion! We booked this house for my sisters 40th Birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint! About a 20-minute drive from Cardiff which was convenient when venturing out for food and drinks (I would advise pre booking travel as we got stung on return taxis) The check-in was very friendly and informative. The host made sure we had all the details we needed, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was just as described in the listing with plenty of space and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. Everything you could need was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The place had all the essentials, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making sure everything was available. We stayed as a family of 7 (6 adults and a toddler) and two dogs for two nights over the May bank holiday weekend. We had a lovely time. The cottage was clean and comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen. Didi was very helpful and the check in instructions were clear. We used it as a base to visit Burford and Burton. We ate at the Wheatsheaf pub/hotel one evening which Didi recommended, would recommend. There is a lovely park a few minutes walk away which our toddler enjoyed and plenty of green space for dog walking. Parking was quite easy to find in the village, we had three cars between us and didn’t struggle to find parking. Would happily return. Thanks Didi, great host.

The stay was great, there were plenty of extras that werent expected like milk in the fridge and cereals to help ourselves to. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Great offroad parking too. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Burrows Court, a beautiful house in peaceful and nature rich surroundings. As a diverse group of adults, young children and dogs it met all of our needs for a special Easter break together. Samantha is a fantastic host, going above and beyond in making arrangements and providing literally everything we might have needed as a group. And the small touches were hugely appreciated…cakes on arrival, treats for the dogs, bunting for a birthday party. Wow. We are all already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you :)

We loved our stay at the owlet. It is the most relaxing place, we loved going out on the paddle board and kayak and our boys enjoyed running around in the grass outside the dome. The space ourself was bigger than we expected and kitted out with everything you need. Sarah was super helpful and friendly. We'd recommend to anyone! Only downside is it's so booked up :) we hope to return next year.

We had a great short break and the house was perfect and matched all of the pictures and descriptions. The hot tub was brilliant and the proactive emails, instructions and support from Rob were first class. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay, we took day trips to Salisbury, Cheltenham and Bath. All were within easy reach. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Homely & well-equipped. Note that to use the indoor pool you have to ring them or walk over at 10:30 in the morning to book a 1 hour slot for the next day. Would definitely recommend staying here. We are looking forward to coming back.

We all loved our stay at the Coach house. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed and the gardens were stunning. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pool which was a real treat! We would love to return and stay here again. Highly recommend.

The host, Jason: Contacted us before the booking with lots of helpful information about the cottage and estate. He kindly asked if we needed recommendations and provided a whole list of activities and areas to explore. His instructions for accessing the property were also clear and friendly. Jason offered us early check-in and late checkout—both of which were much appreciated. He made us feel welcome before we even arrived. He left lots of complimentary snacks, drinks, bread, eggs, and milk, along with a welcome sign for our family. Beautiful ducks came right to the patio, and Jason even left us duck feed. Jason also provided tennis rackets and table tennis gear for use at the facility, which was a lovely touch. Jason is very proactive and responsive. The cottage: We felt right at home! It’s very private and cosy, with three toilets. The beds were comfy, and we were very comfortable. There are plenty of plates and pots available too. We made brilliant memories here. We recommend!

We had a perfect Easter weekend stay! Jacqui was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. The 2-bed accommodation was lovely: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a beautiful pool. It was also very dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring nearby Bath, Bristol, Wells, and Glastonbury. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return!

Tracy was very attentive, the cabin was beautiful and overlooking beautiful surroundings, we wanted somewhere quiet and easy and we got that in 'the hideaway'. The cabin itself was lovely and cosy. We had a lovely weekend ❤️

Small , private, comfortable and well equipped property. Parking area adjacent. Lovely enclosed gardens so our young dog was safe and able to play with owners own dog. Hosts were delightful, warm and welcoming. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar provided along with a bottle of cider. We loved our stay and hope to return one day.

Unbelievable gem in Newland. Immaculate in every way and no expense has been spared. You would think you’re in a 5* hotel for the price of a Travelodge! Newland is a gem of a village. The local pub is friendly, old and the food is insanely good. Couldn’t wish for a better mini break. Don’t hesitate: book immediately.

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We loved our stay at Yvonne's, the apartment was cosy and felt very authentic to the farm surroundings, the patio was well sealed for our dog, we really appreciated the bread and fresh eggs from the chickens, and the view is stunning. Bonus was the very friendly turkey who came to say hello! Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely few days. The place was clean, tidy and relaxing. Debbie went out of her way to make it a lovely place to stay and to make sure our baby was comfortable too. I would recommend this place and we would use again in the future.

3 of us stayed at Paradise cottage, the place was spotless and exactly how it was described. We arrived on motorbikes and wasn't sure where to park them for safety, Mandy allowed us to park them right out her own home behind secure gates which was great. No need to change anything whatsoever. A very nice and welcoming stay

This place was just gorgeous. The field was so peaceful and beautiful, the fire pit was lovely and the cabin was so cosy. There were lots of lovely little touches and the bed was so comfy. There was plenty of wood to use and useful items like salt and milk. Great kitchen for cooking and our dog loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria.
