we had a lovely break at the foxes den shepherds hut . The views are amazing and the area is beautiful . everything was as explained by Viki and it couldn't have ran any smoother. Our Shepherds Hut was Very Clean and beautifully decorated and the Easter Eggs were a lovely touch. We will certainly be back and would reccomend to anyone who wishes to explore the beautiful Devon countryside and Coast line.

Fantastic location & very warm & comfortable with amazing views, great little kitchen & facilities, 5* get-a-way.

Perfect location for exploring Shaldon and Teignmouth, the hut was cosy but had everything you needed, toilets and showers were seconds away and were v. clean, would say the bed was a bit hard but all in all was very happy with my stay and would recommend!

Just returned from yet another stay at The Glade, it never fails to be amazing. My son has spent his past 2 birthdays here with me and explains that it is his favourite place. We love the hammock, woods, quiet, solitude and my sons favourite thing is waking up to the birds singing. This place is truly a haven! Remember to take your binoculars as there are an abundance of birds to see. I noticed this stay that there is a nesting pair of Nuthatches nesting in the tree directly in front of the kitchen window. Spent lots of time watching those go in and out and tidy their nest. The Glade is equipped with everything you need and Juliet is on hand if you need anything else. Lovely place and I cannot say enough good things about it. We will be back again soon. Liane, Roo and Peggy-sue.

A fantastic stay, a beautiful location totally quiet from the surroundings. The actual place is perfect, the fire instantly warms the whole area and will last for hours. Everything you can need is provided ready and James and Megan reply and offer help before you can think of it! Fantastic place would love to stay again!

Lovely three nights in the hut. The campsite itself is nice and tranquil. It's perfect for the kids as there is a small farm at the bottom. Nice little setup for a short break. Toilets and bathrooms which were shared were kept clean and relatively new. Can't fault the stay. Shaldon and Teignmouth were enjoyable places to visit including taking the Ferry to Teignmouth which the kids loved. Would recommend if you stay to make sure you bring thick duvets or sleeping bags and possibly hot water bottles if the temp drops overnight. Overall a fantastic visit.

Gorgeous location, a bit hard to find . Also maybe there should be a large instruction to mention not to go on the road on the right of the property ( past the farm) as it isn’t suitable for cars and you can get stuck. Our satnav gave us that option and we had no idea how hard it would be to get out of there.

An ideally located cabin with beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful and tranquil we couldn't of asked for any more the cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped just sitting in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun set was amazing we will definatly be going back

This is the second time we stayed at the cabin, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It’s such a peaceful place where you can truly relax. I loved sitting with a coffee in the morning listening to the birds and wildlife surrounding us. The bed was super cosy and warm and we both slept amazingly well. There are so many places to go that are nearby as you’re just on the edge of Dartmoor, we did a lot of walking! We highly recommend staying here, we never want to leave!

♥︎ Highly recommend The Little Hut ♥︎ So neat and secluded, a big space opposite to wander freely and run the dog. Great provisions inside inc. tea, coffee and lovely smelling toiletries. The hot tub was a treat with a beautiful view, even amid the rain, and easy to use with all you needed supplied for the weekend. Sarah was lovely to communicate with and I’d love to stay again. Absolutely a perfect place to spend our anniversary week. Ann and Ian were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Gave us our privacy and answered all of our questions. The hut was amazingly clean and clutter free. You can see the effort put into making the hut cosy and comfortable. The garden was well taken care of and private with a lovely lovely view out front. Prices per night were just what we wanted as well. We highly enjoyed our visit and will plan to come again!

Wow! What an incredible place - so peaceful and felt so relaxed immediately. Thank you to Sandra on making the stay so welcoming and offering a few options locally. We really loved the outside living space, hot tub looking across the woods and cosy bedroom after watching films! It was a wonderful stay celebrating my partners birthday and we are already planning our return back because it was just so perfect and peaceful.

Wow, what can i say. Probably one of the most well equipped shepherd huts i have ever stayed in. Credit to the owners for a great build quality , beautiful surroundings with some cute animals to watch. We had such a warm welcome then left to our own devises , we felt truly relaxed in the evenings chilling out over the fire and enjoying the lovely bread that was provided too. Support the farmers by staying on farm stay huts, i hope to come back soon. cheers

A serene and charming stay at Lucy and Andy’s. The hot tub is fantastic and the views of the countryside can’t be beaten. Accommodating and friendly hosts, would recommend to anyone.

Great stay! Even though it was rainy the first half of our stay it was still an incredibly peaceful and cosy place to be. Everything was as described and we were close to walks/bays/supermarket and had everything we needed. Outdoor shower is a highlight for sure! Definitely coming back

I took my boyfriend to Fiona’s hut for his birthday to get away from the busy city & life! It was exactly that & more, the hut is so amazing, it has everything you need and the bed is so unbelievably comfortable I’ve asked for the details of the pillows!! It was the perfect getaway, the hot tub was amazing & if you turn the lights off you can enjoy the starry skies! The pony’s are super cute & friendly! Honestly it was so much more than what we were expecting. The hut is so homely and cosy! Fiona is also an amazing host, she is very responsive & friendly! We will definitely be back! Also the milk!!! The milk that is provided by Fiona is amazing!! It is super thick and creamy! Just every little detail has be thought through! Thank you so much for such an amazing weekend! X

Great place to get away from it all, with easy distance from Dartmoor and other surrounding walks. The area is great for dogs to play around. Our dog is very anxious so was great to have his own little area to run around in! The hut itself is cosy, with everything we needed. Even staying in February the hut was warm and shower was perfect and hot. Great after a cold walk.

We had an amazing stay at Jess & Johns place. Fantastic location and extremely private. It was such a beautiful place for us to have a well needed break. We highly recommend this stay and would be more than happy to visit again.

we had a wonderful time. it truely is a magical place. my two sons loved it and Ralph (the owners dog) was a excellent tour guide, we hope to return soon.

The cowshed is so peaceful! And brilliant to sit outside with the fire pit and bathtub, especially if you are lucky enough for a starry night. Susan was lovely at check in and has thought of lots of wonderful details that made the stay extra special. We did not want to leave. Look forward to returning again soon!

We had such a wonderful last minute stay at Andrew’s place. It exceeded our expectations! We were so lucky to get the whole place to ourselves so our dog could roam about freely. The hut comes with so much land! The wildlife was amazing and the sheep and chickens really added to the experience. It is conveniently located 15 minute walk from Sainsbury’s. The hot tub was also a great addition, and used lots! We had a BBQ and a fire on the last night. A peaceful, wholesome getaway.

Lovely two night get away. Dennis was very helpful and accommodating. We didn’t want to leave!

We had the best stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Check-in was easy, Diane was there to great us, with easy directional signage to park our car and unload our bags into a pullable trolley. Diane helped us settle in, explained how to use all amenities and the gorgeous outside bath. Everything that we needed was there. The kitchen is fully functioning, as is the bathroom. Towels are provided, which is great, alongside small extras such as make up remover flannels and dressing gowns. There are games under the seating and plenty of storage solutions to hide your bags. We sat out the first night, had a fire out after a hot bath and stargazed. There was another couple staying, but you wouldn’t have known. The area is private and peaceful. The alpacas were there to great us the next morning and the grounds are filled with all kinds of delightful sculptures. Everything was perfect, we can’t wait to visit again!
