Stayed here for a month long outage and it was great! Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever up this way again!

We had a fabulous stay in Edward’s apartment - we saw some stunning sunrises! The area felt very safe and was within a short walk to the T (train/subway) to get into Boston. We were there for the Boston Marathon and getting into Boston and back again on public transport was very straightforward. Edward went out of his way to help us and we are very grateful to him. It was lovely to come back to amazing views after a busy day sightseeing (or running!!). Thank you for hosting us!

An incredibly nice, cozy apartment with a very gracious host. Very pet friendly and Betsy rapidly addressed our questions regarding pet access. The paid for parking is a bargain and eliminates the hassle of trying to find street parking in Sommerville. The T is less than a 15 minute walk and allows easy access to Boston and surrounding area (e.g. Musuem of Fine Arts, the Aquarium, Fenway Park and many other local attractions). There are some good eating establishments within walking distance and fast food venues if that is more in line with your tastes. We hope it is available next time we return to the Boston area.

Great place that’s got everything you need. Just like advertised. Nice and safe area, very close proximity to the beach. Joe is a great host, very responsive and will make sure you feel right at home.

A lovely place to stay in the Salem. Great location that’s very walkable to downtown Salem and all the attractions therein. The apartment is great, with a comfy bed, smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals when not dining out. Host was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

The place was what we werelooking for the one night we stayed. I would recommend an amendment to the cleaning fee for one night. Otherwise it was great and the pictures are accurate. Bathroom needs a redo but still a great time. Have fun.

We have had a lot of luck with AirBnB, but Valeri's place was the best so far. Literally across the street from beach access. A great restaurant next door with several others in easy walking distance. Minutes from Salem and Marblehead. The rental was fantastic. You could and picture it as being what you would want in a seaside vacation getaway or second home. Everything was clean, stocked, and organized. Beds were comfortable, and it was just a really all around relaxing environment. Loved the decor! Valeri was very nice and gave great local recommendations. I don't check to see if she's a "super" host, but she's number one for me. Loved our weekend getaway and would absolutely book again.

Gretchen’s house is a charming, two-story one on a very nice and quiet little street. The furnishings are pretty and tasteful, and there is comfortable living room furniture, as well an excellent beds and pillows. Our favorite thing was its location, within very easy walking distance from a gorgeous park and beach. Downtown was also reachable via a short walk. We did some of our own cooking and found everything we needed. Gretchen was an especially nice and responsive hostess. If we were lucky enough to get to Rockport again, I would want to stay there.

5+ stars! This was one of my favorite airbnb stays. This home is beautiful, clean, spacious and cozy at the same time. All of us staying there felt right at home! We all had a great sleep and couldnt wait to get up and take the very short walk to the beach. The trip to downtown Ipswich is quick where there are plenty of shops and places to eat. We cant wait to take trip back already! Thank you Liz for letting us use your home and being short call/text/or email away. Everything was super easy and stress free :)

We had a lovely long weekend at Natasha's gorgeous home. Spotlessly clean, with modern upgrades and appliances. The layout is a bit unusual as the house has been renovated and split into at least 2 units. Located on main road into Swampscott, with a view of the ocean (across the road) out the front windows--very beautiful even in the middle of winter! We had snow 2 out of 3 nights, and on the first of these there was a gentleman outside shoveling the driveway and back steps around noon. But by our check out time (noon) on Monday, nobody had cleared the snow. Got our car out ok, and we cleared off the back steps so we could bring our luggage out. There was conflicting info between the listing and what we were told by the owner re check-in and check out times--we messaged owner (twice) to clarify check out time and never heard back from her, so called her on check out morning--she apologized and honored the original listing. Info in owner's instruction booklet at house needs updating.

Another amazing stay at Salty Girl! Erin’s home is spotless and calm and inviting. There were so many small touches to make a family’s stay easy like a toy drawer, step stool in the bathroom, and stuffed animals for the kids in the bunk room! Truly so thoughtful. The location couldn’t be better with an easy walk to the bay and beach. Really peaceful surroundings. Thank you! We can’t wait to return!!!

Enorme casa en excelentes condiciones, muy funcional y con un enorme patio que no pudimos disfrutar por falta de tiempo y porque el clima aún no lo permitió, pero la propiedad es fantástica, muy bien equipada, impecablemente limpia, situada convenientemente en un suburbio residencial a aproximadamente 30 minutos de Boston. Simplemente de lujo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the place was very clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like toiletries and a stocked kitchen, which made our stay even more convenient. Additionally, its close proximity to Boston made it a fantastic location for exploring the city. The host was also very nice and responsive. We highly recommend it!

We had a great time! The house had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, the couch was great too!! It was so nice to have a fenced in backyard for our dog! We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area! It’s close to downtown Portsmouth, which is so cute! Chris was super communicative and helpful!

The apartment was as listed, and very clean, with all the amenities we needed to stay there. It was centrally located to all the areas we went to. The directions to get in were very clear. Dev was very responsive when I contacted him and it was overall a great stay.

Our family really enjoyed our long weekend at Donald’s place. The location is great, right in the middle of Marblehead, walkable to old town and the various shops and restaurants that dot the area— a great base for visiting friends and family on the north shore. We’ll definitely look to stay here again if available the next time we’re in the area.

My stay at the Marsh-Mellow, hosted by MaryJane, was phenomenal. From check-in to check-out, the process was simple as MaryJane had clear, detailed instructions on how to enter as well as great recommendations on what to do in the area. I have no hesitation when I recommend this space as your next getaway trip. You will not be disappointed!

My little group had a wonderful stay at Tristan’s property. The space was well maintained and comfortable, and it was close to the attractions we wanted to see. Tristan was a great communicator - proactive and very responsive. Amazing stay!

Sean place is an Amazing place to stay at really comfortable private and you can get peace and quiet. The place was very clean and no need to go anywhere if it rain Sean has stuff to do and have fun. Thank you Sean would be booking again soon with you

My second stay with Will. A clean, comfortable, quiet unit. Hate to give a five star review because it may be harder to get a reservation next year when I come back for work. 😄

Third year we’ve stayed there. Very well equipped unit. New sofa this year. The screened in porch overlooking the beach is a big attraction for us. You’re on the beach, so access isn’t an issue. Not one of the busier sections of the beach, but it’s a short walk to the areas with shops. An always accessible parking space, and an elevator to the upper floors is a plus.

This is a way to truly get away. The studio was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable and having the ocean right outside was amazing. We only booked for a weekend, but I wish we had booked for a week - so amazing!! Everything was perfect!!

What a find! I came to Kristen's because some plans fell through last minute. Having never heard of Marblehead but keen to visit somewhere by the sea and easily accessible from Boston, wow did I get a pleasant surprise. It is absolutely beautiful there, I had to pinch myself - it was like living in a film! The apartment was absolutely perfect. I'd been staying somewhere a bit grubby and disorganised beforehand and Kristen's place was absolutely sparkling clean, I felt incredibly welcome and cared for right away. Furthermore, checking in early with my monstrous suitcase was no problem at all and the apartment is generously stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, a bottle of wine, cold drinks, a folder of local recommendations, comfortable, quality furnishings and linens, great lighting and more. This is what true hosting is all about if you ask me - making your guests feel as comfortable and welcome as possible and Kristen most certainly does this in spades.
