A charming retreate getway from busy city life. If I were a writer I would most likely create a master peace whilst staying at Villa Sperling. The accommodation is a great getaway with a magnificent view from the terrace of Santa Flavia and Sicily and is only 17 kilometres east of the capital Palermo. Note you will need a car to get you around. The garden is wonderful idyllic and peacfull with fresh fruits, Oranges, Lemons and Grapefruit. Overall we had a wonderful stay whilst cooking Sicilian food speciality’s with accompanying wines from the region. If I were to add a negative connotation it would be that the coffee stove top moka coffee pot was to small. The kitchen could benafit from a coffee machine, apart from this the flat is very well equipped and has all the creature comforts of home.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen im wunderschönen Haus von Paolo. Es hat ausreichend Platz für alle. Der Garten ist grosszügig und schön gestaltet. Der Küche fehlen ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Der Kontakt war immer sehr freundlich, unsere Wünsche und kleinen Sorgen wurden immer schnell erfüllt. Wir haben das 1. Mal über Abnb gebucht. Danke vielmals für die schöne Zeit

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

Wir waren im Juli 2024 in Mondello und hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub. Die Strände und das türkisblaue Meer waren atemberaubend schön. Die Ferienwohnung unserer Gastgeberin Gabriella war genauso schön wie auf den Bildern, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse spendet tagsüber Schatten und lädt abends zu einem Glas Wein ein – einfach wunderschön. Gabriella ist eine herzliche und liebevolle Gastgeberin, die immer telefonisch erreichbar ist. Ein besonderes Erlebnis war, als uns mitten in der Nacht die Haustür zugefallen ist und der Schlüssel von innen steckte. Wir riefen Gabriella an, und ihr Ehemann kam sofort, um uns zu helfen. Dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Auch bei Fragen und mit nützlichen Tipps war Gabriella immer zur Stelle. Wir haben uns bei ihr sehr wohl gefühlt – besser geht es nicht. Vielen Dank, Gabriella, für diesen unvergesslichen, schönen Urlaub! Grazie mille ♡♡♡

Roberto est un hôte très accueillant, il est très réactif et nous a donné de très bonnes recommandations dans le coin. Il nous a même apporté le petit déjeuner par deux fois. La maison a une vue imprenable sur la mer avec un accès privatif sans espace de sable pour se poser mais avec une petite terrasse bétonnée. Nous avons également bien profité de la terrasse extérieure qui est à l abri du vent et où nous avons passé de très agréables soirées. Nous avons passé une bonne semaine en Sicile et la localisation très proche de l aéroport (15 min) était un plus. Les villes de Trapani, Palerme, Mondello, Segeste sont facilement accessibles à moins d 1h et Cefalu à 1h20.

Vi har rigtig glade for vores ophold. Perfekt til en familie på 4. Vi nød udsigten og swimmingpoolen. Giuseppe var meget hjælpsom og kom med lokale anbefalinger. Særligt bageren, isboden og restauranten i nærheden var vi glade for (S.Nicola), men også en dejlig tur til Cefalú - hvor restauranten A Paranza lavede lækre pizzaer. Giuseppe anbefalede også gode restauranter i Palermo. Vi vil absolut anbefale stedet til andre, og vil elske at komme tilbage.

We absolutely loved our stay in Palermo! Leandro was a wonderful host, and the space was just as awesome as we expected. It was super clean, and had everything that we needed. The outdoor space was beautiful and very peaceful! The only thing to note is that the staircase is pretty narrow and steep. We had no issue with it but our suitcases had to stay downstairs, which was fine. The location is very central to Palermo (near Teatro Massimo) and we were able to walk everywhere easily. We did have a car for half of this trip, and didn’t have any trouble finding parking spaces nearby the street. Definitely recommend for your time in Palermo, and we would absolutely stay here again!!

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

David is a very friendly, funny, and warm host who met us at the apartment to make sure our check in was smooth (and it was!). He totally made us feel right at home and welcome -- just a great person to talk to! The apartment was terrific -- the kitchen was well-equipped, and the space was roomy and spotless. The location was perfect as well -- close to the water and within walking distance to all the markets, and tons of stores and restaurants. Palermo is an awesome city, made even more special by Davide and his place. Thank you for a perfect stay, Davide!!!

This was such a lovely apartment and made our stay in Palermo so enjoyable. Great location and very comfortable apartment! They supplied a high chair and cot for our baby too.

Spędziłam miesiąc w tym apartamencie. W większości nie było na co narzekać oprócz typowych problemów niezależnych od właściciela, np. wywóz śmieci. Mieszkanie idealnie sprawdziło się na tak długi pobyt. Polecam.

Michelangelo was so responsive from even before I had booked. I had a million questions as this was my first visit to Italy, and he answered them clearly and patiently. He helped me with the ZTL pass and suggestions for coffee and food places. He was also very helpful with ensuring we knew how to get in and out etc. The photos don’t do the place justice. It is so much bigger in person. Very very large master bedroom and big enough 2nd bedroom with a bunk bed. I’m a larger dude and fit fine in the bunk bed. The air conditioning was great when it got humid. I would for sure stay again. Michelangelo was GREAT!

It was truly a privilege to stay at Lucia's custom built flat. It has the perfect blend of rich history and morden amenities. The view from the rooftop patio was out of this world and the flat was so close to all the major sites and yet completely isolated from street noise for a good rest. If you are lucky enough to find her listing available, you need to book it now! We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you Lucia for a wonderful experience in Palermo!

Abbiamo trascorso 4 notti da Marina con un bimbo di 1 anno e siamo molto soddisfatti : al nostro arrivo, il lettino e il seggiolone erano già pronti, e l'appartamento, dando su un cortile, era silenzioso. Poi, Marina è stata molto disponibile e amichevole per qualsiasi tipo di domanda. Raccomandiamo senza dubbio ! :)

Giulia è stata un' host molto gentile, sempre disponibile per consigli e per qualsiasi richiesta di chiarimento. L'appartamento è molto carino e in posizione centrale per visitare Palermo. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti e sicuramente consigliamo La Casa di Giulia a tutti per un soggiorno in relax a Palermo.

Wahnsinnig schöne Wohnung inmitten von Palermo. Die Lage ist unglaublich gut da direkt mitten im Geschehen, aber da die Wohnung nicht zur Straße geht absolut ruhig bei Nacht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Valentina is an excellent host, always very quick to respond and very helpful letting us into the apartment well before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice, not as busy as the touristic center but still in the heart of the city. Please be aware that the free parking is not on location but a few blocks away. Not a problem at all once Valentina sent us the location. We can highly recommend the apartment and it’s great host.

Une des meilleures si ce n’est LA meilleure location que j’ai faite sur AIR BNB. Leti a vraiment été super accueillante et très utiles dans ses conseils et ses propositions de services annexes (transport aéroport, bagages, etc.) L’appartement est idéalement situé en front de mer dans le Mondello historique dans un coin très calme. Il est vraiment spacieux et fonctionnel et très bien orienté (le soleil le matin sur le balcon, c’est le rêve) avec une vue sur la baie 😍. Si je reviens à Mondello, c’est sur je rappelle Leti !

Tolle Unterkunft und ein toller Gastgeber. Ein tolles Badezimmer mit allen möglichen Bad- und Pflegeprodukten. Der Kühlschrank war mit Joghurt und Wasser gefüllt. Es gab Kuchen und ausreichend Kaffee. Die Kommunikation mit Giuseppe war tadellos. Er war sehr entgegenkommend und unfassbar freundlich. Die Lage ist super und wirklich authentisch. Ein grandioser Aufenthalt.

We, two ladies , stayed there for 5 nights. We wanted to have two „equal bed rooms“ and this was fully matched ( and is not easy to be found in Airbnb‘s in Italy). We even had two bathrooms which was very convenient for us. We liked the location - right between Capo Market and Teatro Massimo. In a street with large trees. The flat has new windows, they close perfectly, we were not bothered through any traffic noise. The flat is very functional, bathrooms very ok, high water pressure, always hot water. We had some very cold days and really loved that the central heating worked!! Fully positive suprise for Palermo , where you hardly find a heating or one that can be put on in April. We also highly appreciated that Giulia made a sooner check in possible and a check out at 11:30. Eased our life with two trolleys enormously 😊 thanks once again! A suggestion for easy make it better Features: add a bord in the bathroom, add some lights and some interior details to create a more cosy atmosp

Siamo stati accolti dal padre di Simona che è stato gentilissimo ci ha dato la possibilità di entrare in casa appena arrivati anche se il check-in era previsto più tardi. Durante il soggiorno siamo stati seguiti quotidianamente , sincerandosi sempre sulle nostre necessità. L’orario della partenza è stato flessibile permettendo di lasciare le nostre valigie fino alla partenza. La casa è risultata perfetta sia per la pulizia che per l’organizzazione e i comfort proposti. Assolutamente da consigliare.

Annalisa und Stefano haben uns freundlich, mit klaren Anweisungen und zusätzlichen Tipps für die Stadt empfangen. Der Check-in war unkompliziert, auch einen kostenlosen Parkplatz haben wir in der Nähe gefunden. Die Wohnung ist sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Ein wenig laut war es tagsüber, weil im Haus renoviert wurde, aber das ist vermutlich nur vorübergehend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Ich bin zum zweiten Mal bei Fabrizio zu Gast und würde immer wieder kommen!! :) Die Lage direkt beim Teatro Massimo mit unmittelbarer Nähe zu Restaurants, Cafés und Bars ist unschlagbar und lässt Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt Palermos, sowie Supermärkte, etc. super zu Fuß erreichen. Weiteres „Plus“ dabei: Die tolle Verglasung lässt einen durch die gute Schall-Isolierung nicht vermuten, dass man sich inmitten des sprudelnden Lebens der Stadt befindet. Sollte man dies doch spüren wollen, laden die drei Balkone zur Entspannung und einen Kaffee in der Sonne ein. Neben dem hervorragenden Service vor, während und nach dem Aufenthalt ist die schnelle und super freundliche, sowie hilfsbereite Kommunikation absolut erwähnenswert. Mich hat hier stets eine stilvolle, sehr saubere Unterkunft, samt charmantem Gastgeber erwartet und ich würde jederzeit gerne wieder kommen! :) Danke Fabrizio!! :)

Marco's place was just what we needed in Palermo! We absolutely LOVED the location - right in the center of the historic district. Marco's wife Clementina was so welcoming and helped us get settled and oriented. She had lots of great ideas of places to go and things to do. We loved our stay in Palermo and would recommend Marco's place to anyone.
