The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. Mavis' Mountain Cottage overlooking the Gold Coast

Mavis's Mountain Cottage is fully self contained, light, airy and located on parkland acres on the eastern escarpment. The Gold Coast views are breathtaking! The cottage contains fully equipped kitchen, high ceilings, Wi-Fi, aircon and ceiling fans. There are two outdoor decks and picnic basket provided for your use. Easy walking distance to local wineries and the popular glowworm caves. A short drive to local cafes and shops on the famous Gallery Walk and walking trails in the National Parks.

Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

The Hillside House

The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. Tranquil Private Studio

This fully self-contained studio is a great place to unwind & relax after a busy day site seeing around the Gold Coast. Located in the suburb of Parkwood, set in a peaceful, tranquil environment. GC Hospital is a 6 min drive or one tram stop away. Parkwood East tram station is a 10 min peaceful walk. Light rail (tram) takes you as far as Broadbeach or connects to the main rail link travelling from Robina to Brisbane. The studio is attached to the end of main house yet very private.

The Beechmont Chalet Hinterland Getaway

The Beechmont Chalet is the perfect hinterland getaway. The Chalet has been recently renovated, it is the perfect mixture of character from the original establishment and modern features. This unique home features large windows for star gazing over the Gold Coast hinterland, a beautiful veranda to have coffee or watch sunsets, a bath in the clouds & a fireplace to keep you toasty in the winter. The chalet is fully self-contained with all the necessities you need to have an amazing stay.
