One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. This place had a nice location, a couple blocks from the lake. It was clean, had everything we needed and was reasonably priced.

Heather’s place is AMAZING! It’s beautifully decorated. The furniture is super comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could want to prepare a meal. VERY reasonably priced considering everything you get and the location. I highly recommend Heather’s place if you’re staying in the area.

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

The family had a relaxing long weekend following Christmas. The house comfortably fit all six of us. Very welcoming kitchen for plenty of meals and games. The area was great, we enjoyed skiing, tube sledding, the elk park, and bowling. Many grocery and restaurant options in the area also. Definitely recommend.

Meg and Rita should be elevated to above “Superhost”. The little pink house is clean quiet and nicely decorated. All hosts should be as responsive and thoughtful. Every wall switch was labeled to let me know which switch operated each particular light or room. AND every wall socket was fitted with an adapter outlet which was so helpful when traveling with multiple chargers for multiple devices. A great stay. I will definitely stay again.

Maggie’s place was great! Plenty of space for 10 of us to sleep and hang out and play board games in the evening. Very walkable to several different restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

The home was beyond expectations and included everything you could need and more. It was secluded and the natural beauty was breathtaking! The host was immediately responsive when we had a question and exceedingly accommodating. The hot tub was perfect on a cold misty morning overlooking the serene river view just a few steps from the deck. Highly recommended and hoping to return next year.

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

My family with a newborn, 2 year old, and 8 year old, made a last minute booking with Nancy and she still went out of her way to make our stay special. The place was clean and smell free. All of the tools needed to cook were present. We had enough towels and linen and extras if needed. We made use of the washer and drier and had no issues. Although we visited in the winter, I can see why Nancy's place is a desirable location for summer visitors. We loved having a Family Fare across the street and a Walmart and a local butcher within a 3 minute drive. We also loved the public playground at the school 5 minutes away and hiking at Marl lake trail 20 minutes away. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely stay with Nancy again! Thank you for everything!!

House was exactly as listed. In addition to being spotless clean, all the house amenities were top notch with the best being the kitchen. Made majority of meals in high end kitchen - so refreshing to have quality pots and pans that made the experience great. Master bath was large with multiple shower heads in the shower. We enjoyed the rear patio at night with a relaxing fire in the gas fire pit. Parking was more than adequate with plenty of room and large garage that allowed storage of multiple bikes and e-scooter. Location was great with short walk to downtown or waterfront. Be sure to check out the Bricktown Cookie Company, Bricktown Burger and Loco Boys Brewing all less than 2 blocks away. Access to Tart & Boardman Trails was very easy allowing near daily rides. Be sure to check out walking trails at Hickory Hills and Vasa - very easy and relaxing. Communication with Rande was outstanding with near instant response. Obvious that Rande really wants guests to enjoy the house

Great place for a girls getaway. We enjoyed our time there with access to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely recommend for a quiet location with everything you need.

We loved our stay at Jeremy’s place! The place was spacious, clean, and I loved the balcony access for our pet. We also had a great trail to walk along, as well and the nearby neighborhoods. We were never more than 10-15 driving minutes away from most of the activities and places we wanted to visit, which made it extremely convenient and made the best use of our time. The building is quiet, easy to access and safe. We would definitely stay here again!

The location was beautiful. We had an issue the first night with the hot water but they sent someone out early morning the next day and resolved the issue. All in all a responsive host and a great stay!

This is a beautifully designed condo with lots of spaces for a group to be together (large table, kitchen island stools, and sitting area). We loved the location of the condo because we could walk to restaurants, shops and family who were also staying in the Village. Accessing the unit is a bit complicated but the directions given are well done and easily followed, but you need to have those directions available to you for your first time into the unit - after that first time, you will be fine. Also it is important to note that even with the elevator, everyone staying in the unit will have to negotiate a single flight of stairs with suitcase, either up a traditional staircase or the metal spiral staircase. We would highly recommend this unit.

We really enjoyed this place. The condo was extremely well maintained and clean. The unit matched the description completely. As mentioned in the listing, the condo is on a busy road and there is road noise. But honestly it wasn't a problem for us. The owner does include a sound machine which helps eliminate any road noise at night. We would definitely stay here again sometime.

Perfect location. Close to downtown and parks/beaches (for the kids). The condo was very clean and was had a lot of amenities. Would definitely stay again in the future and highly recommend it.
