Fantastic place! We couldn't date this more highly, the host was so friendly, our sons loved all the farm animals, and our yurt was cozy and clean. The facilities were superb. And there is so much to do nearby we will definitely return!

We had a magical stay in the Yurt at Fordhall Farm. It was fantastic to feel so close to nature the yurt was ever so comfortable. Our two children absolutely loved it - the barbecues, the wood burner and keeping cosy, the amazing beauty of the place, the animals voices (!) - and so did we. There are brilliant walks which are perfect for young children and we were supplied with bug hunting rucksacks to go and explore. And we found the farm itself a really inspiring place to be with an incredible story.

What a great stay and a super experience for us as a family. We usually camp but we wanted something extra with it not being warm yet so we Chose the yurt and we were not disappointed. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and the private bathroom and fridge was a real Game changer for us - I have a lot of dietary requirements and the fridge was Just perfect. It is such a beautiful place. The views are spectacular and the yurt itself is brilliant. Much bigger than we expected, everything provided, included plates, mugs, bedding (not for the futons). I am a very cold person and I never once felt cold, with the log burner and hot tub. We will definitely be back again. Next time we would want to stay in the bottom one as the trek up and down the hill is a bit of a pain, especially for someone like me who is very forgetful and I would get to the bathroom and realise I had forgotten The key. However, don’t let that put you off - I welcomed the exercise. Thank you so much!

Wonderful yurts in a little slice of Welsh heaven. Set in the valley these wonderful yurts are well equipped and very very comfortable. Little woodburners inside for chilly nights, firepits outside for roasting marshmellows. Merlins bus, which was converted into the kitchen/diner is great for cooking meals. We enjoyed gorgeous walks in the area or a trip to the beach at Aberdovey. Frances is amazing and is very caring towards her guests. Its a wonderful place to come to get away from it all. Really great for young kids too. Great for them to explore the woods and collect firewood etc. We’ve been coming for around 8 yrs and have loved it everytime.

A little slice of paradise :) If you want to wind down and get away from the world this is the place to go . Set in a beautiful forest with owls tooting in the night, it’s a wonderful place to be . Great hosts and brilliants amenities . We will be back !!

Stayed for a birthday weekend with friends. Jack was a lovely host, so helpful and informative. Made us all feel welcome and gave us a tour of the grounds. The place was beautiful, yurts were cosy, beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Fabulous setting, had weather been better we could have made more of the deck and the woodland but a lovely spot and great amenities.

The glancing accommodation was great and exactly as described. Perfect walking distance from Llanberis town which includes a path up to Snowden. The Yurt itself was clean, spacious and warm with plenty of outside space making it feel like you were the only ones there, even when you weren’t! The extra showers and bathroom were a massive bonus. They were always spotless and water hot.

Wow, this must be the best place we have ever stayed at! It was our first experience in a yurt and the yurt was just brilliant and very cozy! Hot tub outside the yurt was just perfect to relax in in the evening, nice and warm for this cold weather and cleaned regularly. Lots of delicious food a little drive away from the site, well worth trying! We were made to feel very comfortable and nothing was too much of an ask from Michelle and Phil. We'll definitely be coming back again!

I could not recommend this more. Our host, Donna, was fantastic and could not have been more helpful; she even checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and sent us a range of different ideas for local places to visit. The yurt was well looked after and the location was stunning. The facilities in the Yurt were good and provided us with all the essentials for our stay. The hot tub was a gods gift, it took some getting used to, to heat it up but once it gets going it was glorious! Spent any opportunity possible enjoying the views! We had a little bit of trouble with the charging devices in the Yurt but that’s to be expected being off the grid! All in all, a wonderful trip with a brilliant host. Would love to visit again!

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The under floor heating was very much needed with the rainy weather and made it feel all the more comfortable! Everything we needed was there and it was all so tidy and clean!! Would love to come back again soon (especially for the hot tub and the little lambs!!) Thank you for a lovely stay!! 🐣🐑

great place to stay and explore North Wales. well equipped private kitchen and a lovely courtyard to relax in outside the yurt. great location to explore North Wales just a short drive into Aberystwyth and several good hiking areas within driving distance. had absolutely no issues with our stay comfy beds and incredibly clean

A lovely yurt that gave us a unique and wonderful experience. It was delightful to wake up to birdsong in the morning and watch the little lambs playing in the field that the yurt looks on to. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because the track is quite narrow and there is really nowhere where you can turn your car around (especially as my car is quite a large saloon). However, we had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Would definitely recommend for those who love nature, want a peaceful holiday, etc. This place is very picturesque and idyllic.

Had a wonderful stay at Sally and Pete's place. It's perfect for a hideaway. Sally and Pete are very helpful and responsive on everything we need and were so nice to give us personalised recommendations.

Had a great stay in Gwenan’s yurt, it’s got really well thought out features like the kitchen which has a proper dining area and the view from the decking is amazing, it could be improved further with a better shower as that was hit and miss and also the access for cars could be made better as it’s very steep and narrow

I had a wonderful two night stay over the weekend with my dog. The yurt is such a great space, and stands in its own private paddock area. Joy and Andy were welcoming, kind, and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to the area and would love to return.

The Traeth Yurt is beautiful and cosy, tucked away in the hedgerows with beautiful views and easy access to the shower block. We loved staying in this peaceful spot, particularly the Dark Skies area, the stars were incredible. The bistro has a lovely atmosphere and great food :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful Airbnb in the Welsh hills, where we stayed in a cozy yurt. The setting was nothing short of magical, surrounded by stunning natural scenery that really helped us unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My children were especially thrilled with the chickens, who were a big hit during our stay—they loved feeding them and watching them roam around. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, offering help and local recommendations whenever we needed them. Their warmth and hospitality truly made our experience memorable. Whether it was ensuring we were comfortable or offering a bit of advice on local hikes, they were always ready to lend a hand. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a touch of adventure for the kids and a welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend this stay enough. It’s a perfect mix of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality.

Elizabeth was super friendly and helpful! Felt really easy to talk to! The place was just dreamy, so strongly recommend it! I would definitely be meeting the warm and welcoming Elizabeth again!

The Secret Yurts way exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Burch Yurt - it is absolutely beautiful. The whole weekend was perfect. Michelle is a fabulous host. There are so many extra personal touches that really makes The Secret Yurts stand out as a very special place. The hot tub was always heated ready for us, the fire in the yurt was lit for our arrival, the kitchen was full of extras, including delicious homemade cake and there was everything we could possibly need for our dog, Poppy. The weekend was a birthday treat, and we really couldn’t have picked anywhere more perfect. We will be back!

The most perfect retreat for our large family. The yurt and garden are just as described and was a perfect get away.

Wow. What a stunning place!! Better than what we expected. Beautiful surroundings. The yurt was so comfy and cosy we ended up staying in the night we were suppose to be going out. The yurt had everything you could possibly need inside and out. Host was very friendly and very approachable. We can’t wait to get back there again. Thank you Jill xx
