During our full-time travels we tend to seek out lodging that is unique, and the old converted Sunday school hall/now glasshouse was just that! Tessa is an exceptional host. We spent a wonderful evening with her learning about the transformation of this beautiful space. Furnishings are stylish and very comfortable. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 5-10 minute drive to the St. Clair beach area, downtown Dunedin or the start of the scenic Otago Peninsula drive.

This was a last minute stay after our accommodation let us down at the last minute. The hosts could not have been more helpful or responded more quickly. The space is smallish but well thought out and the bathroom is large. Great shower though takes a while to heat up. Great views and privacy yet an easy hop to town. No cooker or hob but there is a microwave - meant we had to rethink our meal plan haha! Loved all the scenery and activities on the peninsula. This is a fab place to stay for a few days.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

I was so looking forward to staying at Amanda's beautiful apartment and I wasn't disappointed. It is an utterly delightful haven in the middle of the city, surrounded by equally interesting and lovely buildings. My favorite spot was the chair in front of the window looking out to the garden and bird house - great for a morning coffee. Amanda kindly accommodated two additional guests who joined last minute due to FOMO and we were able to check in early which made the 7am flight tolerable. I cannot recommend Amanda's apartment more highly, she is a superb host and the environment is inspiring, with its light filled high ceilings and spacious vibe.

Tastefully furnished, warm and comfortable accommodation where I was able to have my small dog with me. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom very nice too. Well equipped little kitchenette. Great location in walking distance of beautiful St Claire beach. Karin was friendly and the place was quiet. I would highly recommend this. I really enjoyed my stay.

We have stayed here a couple of times and find it very comfortable and clean, a great place to base ourselves as we explore the Otago coast! Highly recommended!

Wonderful spot to stay - well appointed, comfortable, sunny and warm. Lovely outdoor area to catch the sun. Very peaceful and quiet. St Clair is a unique part of Dunedin and it was an easy flat walk down to the beach and its cafes and shops. Handy corner story five minutes walk away. Only a short drive to the inner city. Magic spot to relax.

A lovely cottage which is close enough to Dunedin, but tucked away in a quiet location on the Otago peninsula. A good size cottage to relax in with everything you need.
