Just what we needed as a base to visit everything we wanted to in Edinburgh. with having a small child an apartment with all described facilities was great. Ben was really responsive aswell any time we had questions. thanks for a lovely stay!

Attractive and stylish period property with fresh neutral decor and plenty of space. High ceilings and original features. Location great, at start of one of the main roads out of town, less than 5 mins from train station. Town centre walkable in 10 - 15 mins through an established Victorian residential area around Lovers’ Walk. River / Whitesands area 15 - 20 mins walk. Easy parking for the property on adjacent side streets. Bus route too (Dumfries to Lockerbie). Property is on the ground floor of a 3 storey townhouse, with around 10 steps up to front door. Dumfries town centre and surroundings have lots to offer. Robert Burns’ House and Centre, Gracefield Art Gallery, River Nith and Dock Park, town Museum, small cinema, plus shops including M&S, a large old Dept Store (Barbour’s), and independent shops such as Flourish, for local gifts etc. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and pubs.

We had a lovely stay here!! The location was perfect, and we were easily able to walk to all the places we wanted to go visit around the city. The home itself was exactly as described, it was very clean and cozy, and we had everything we needed. Marion was a great host - I would absolutely stay again!

The flat was absolutely wonderful. It was roomy, bright, and very comfortable. The flat is located right near an M&S Food as well as other grocery stores (and restaurants and coffee shops), which was very convenient. The hillhead subway location was right around the corner. I appreciated the flat having an elevator, as I arrived with very heavy luggage. It’s the perfect location for a visit to Glasgow. It’s near the university, kelvingrove, and the botanical gardens, and a quick subway ride to the city center and queen street station, if you’re looking to shop or take day trips while in Glasgow. Highly recommend it.

The place is amazingly beautiful and the surrounding is serene and safe. We immediately felt at home and loved the place so much that we extended our stay there. Ross is a very helpful and responsive host who went all the way out to respond to our inquiries. I would definitely reconmend Ross's place to others.

This was a perfect place for us to stay which was 3 couples. It was in close proximity for walking to many of Edinburgh’s many sights. The host was quick to respond to our questions. The only thing I would suggest to a new renter, is when keying in on Maps is to use both STREET & LANE as our host has it listed. This was our problem, not the hosts. The patio was very nice to sit out and enjoy the neighborhood. If I come back to Edinburgh, I would stay in this BnB again.

Mel was a very helpful and friendly host. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful break. Particularly good for the dog with the garden being fully enclosed and free to roam.

Great place, photos don’t do it justice. House is lovely and it’s very peaceful and quiet. Very close to Glasgow, would definitely stay again.

Place was exactly as expected. We only had a short stay, but found all the amenities and space that we needed and expected from the listing. Connie and co hosts were great and were very responsive prior to our stay and throughout.

it completely feels like home. everything was outstanding. host was very firendly and responsive. he received me in accommodation when i arrive there. helped me alot to find out local best restaurants.

We loved spending Easter weekend in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the wood burning stove and the nice sunny terrace after exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

We had the best time here! Scott helped us out a lot by accomodating us a day early when our when broke down. The place was clean and very modern, everything we needed was there! We walked into the city almost every day but the subway is fairly close so that is an option too. You don't have to go far for the best food, our favourite place was just 10 mins walking distance! We will absolutely come back to Scotts' when we come back to Glasgow!

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It felt cozy, clean and comfortable. The area is very walkable to restaurants and pubs. Sharon was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment for those interested in staying in the area.

A super, well equipped, quiet and very comfortable apartment in great location. We only used for a single night to watch a show at the Playhouse but it would also be great for longer stays.

The flat was impeccably clean and tidy, check in also very easy. Pricing is top end for similarly sized accommodation, but given location and amenities in the flat, not excessive. Recommended!

Het appartement van Sue is ontzettend fijn en knus. Leuke details, goede bedden, twee badkamers en op loopafstand van de bus. Sue is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik raad dit van harte aan!

The stay was excellent. Really cosy and comfortable apartment. Dora was so sweet and we received kind hospitality.

Paul’s apartment was perfect for our stay and easily accommodated 5 of us comfortably. Everything needed for our stay was provided and Paul’s availability to answer any queries went above and beyond. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be just a short distance from the busy hustle and bustle of Edinburgh centre but close enough to get there easily and quickly. A real gem of a find. Thank you Paul for all your help and advice!
