We are located at mile 144 on the Parks Highway within Denali State Park. Denali National Park entrance is about 100 miles north. Byers Lake is only 4 miles north with lots of hiking, fishing, kayaking and full of adventure. Some other popular hiking trails within Denali State Park include Kesugi Ridge, Byers Lake, Ermine Hill, Little Coal Creek, Lower and Upper Troublesome. See as much of Alaska as you can knowing at the end of a long full day you will have a comfortable place to come back to.

You will hear birds sing, wind blowing the leaves of the birch tree and watch fish in the creek from kayaks or on our private trails.Our cabins are a place to reconnect. Pets allowed with a private message and pet deposit. If interested in an extended stay please send a message. Large garden in the summer, Hatcher pass / Skeetawk is 10 minute drive. It is rural so we get the northern lights often and the air strip is perfect for viewing. 15 minutes from Palmer and Wasilla.

This upstairs suite is in an historic 1917 cottage, in downtown Anchorage, and is a rare find! Steps away from restaurants, bars, convention center, bus station, museum, bike trails, parks and pubs. It shares the building with a hair salon on the main level. With a private entrance, it is upstairs under the attic eaves, so the bathroom ceiling is slanted (FYI super tall people!) quality towels & linens, a full-sized pull out sofa bed in the living room, the queen bed is cool gel memory foam!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.
