Я и ездовые собаки: жизнь вдали от цивилизации
I will show you my personal Alaskan life at my off the beaten path homestead, just south of Talkeetna. Of course you will meet my Alaskan husky sled dogs. They are a rowdy bunch, but also super friendly and some (Sam and Hayden) even think that 50 - 60 lb is a perfect size to be a lap dog. You will meet each dog individual and learn about sled dogs in general. You will also learn about how the dogs are an integral part of my life and will sit at my kitchen table to see what it takes to live in Alaska year round without having any utility connections (no running water or electricity network hookup). I have setup many systems to still live a relative modern life in summer as well as in winter. You will learn about how me and the dogs collect our own water, haul our own firewood and building material, and how I grow, ferment, bake and gather 80% of my own food. Besides helping me with these tasks the dogs also provide me with winter transportation to explore the incredible back-country of Alaska in winter. It is a unique opportunity to see how and why we live here in the far north. Come visit me and my dogs. Note: * Guests have to be interested in working dogs and off-grid living. * I have no running water and sport an outhouse. No smoking, no animals of any kind. * This is not a large scale tourist destination, but my real life.
Northern light photography class and fat bike adventure

(Photography not required for this trip) Then the adventure begins, you will jump on an electric fat tire bike and dive deep into the woods of alaska chasing the ever elusive northern lights. Picture your self in the wilds of Alaska staring up at a sky thats so bright you could read a book by the ambient pinks and greens rippeling across the sky. Seeing the northern lights is truly breath taking and something you will never forget. Come on out and enjoy a night with Chris Morse your local alaskan celebrity. Chris has been on 7 seasons of Alaskan tv shows and loves to share stories of growing up in Alaska.
Walk Kincaid with a Husky -- for one or two guests
We'll meet in the main parking lot at Kincaid Park. I will assure that visitors have the right gear, fitness, and experience for the current weather. We'll hike for the amount of time and the challenge that the visitors want to take on. They can choose up to a three-hour walk, from gentle to more strenuous. Note: price is for two people. Bring a friend! Other things to note: Kincaid Park is not on the bus system, so you'll need transportation. You'll need to be in shape to walk up to three miles, over uneven terrain. The group will set the challenge level. Message me if you've got time to go slightly outside the city or in winter.

Plein Air Painting in Fairbanks Alaska
We will meet at the main parking lot at Creamer’s Field. First, I like to learn about why you are excited to embark on the historic tradition of plein air painting, and your experience with painting, but no experience is necessary. This will allow me to tailor our painting adventure unique for you ensuring your most satisfaction! Then we will decide what part of the refuge you’d like to create a painting in. What are you most passionate about? The wetlands? The vast fields? The historic buildings? Then our journey begins. We will walk to our decided location set up equipment and I will demonstrate painting alongside you. Giving you instruction if wanted, guiding you through the complete plein air painting process. I will provide all of the supplies. You will leave with an original plein air oil painting! I am also happy to ship your completed and dried painting back home for you through USPS for $10.00 if that helps with your traveling plans:)
Уникальный экотур по Джуно
This unique eco-touring experience will introduce you to particular locations that only the locals keep close to their treasure list. We will avoid the usual tourist attractions to hear nature’s voice better. We may encounter beautiful animals in their natural habitat on trails and water activities due to the abundant fauna here in Juneau. Hiking deep into the refreshing rain forest, enjoying unique beach vistas, not to mention waterfalls, and packrafting traverses in the fjord, are some of the highlights you can experience. Each outing is uniquely customizable to each group based on experience, physical fitness, and weather conditions. So no adventure is the same. I encourage you to read some of the reviews to get some ideas of what other guests have experienced; perhaps it would speak more to you than others. You will leave this experience with lifetime memories and, most certainly, a renewed mind and spirit.
Подледная рыбалка класса люкс с гидом на Аляске
During the activity you will be taught the fundamentals of ice fishing. I will guide you along each step of the process. You will get to catch and keep one fish (to prepare to eat), and you must release the others. As you are fishing in the fish house, you will have a 4k high definition underwater view of all that lies beneath the surface. There will be three underwater cameras and three televisions for guest viewing. I will provide all materials needed to fish. No equipment necessary. I will also provide coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider and reindeer sausage on a bun as a snack during the activity. Once everyone has caught their one fish, I will prepare the fish to be cooked along with jasmine rice. If you prefer to not have your fish cooked you are more than welcome to take it home with you.
Hike Hatcher Pass And Visit Alaskan Gold Mine Remains
Experience a 5 hour guided hiking tour within Hatcher Pass and visit Independence Gold Mine Historical Park. This mine was one of Alaska's top-producing mines before gold mining came to a halt during World War II. After which, mining activity declined until the mine was officially closed in 1951. Thirteen structures built in the late 1930s and early 1940s remain standing. We will be able to safely climb beyond the abandoned buildings on well-trodden trails and get rewarding views of the mine and entire valley. We provide transportation to and from your accommodations in Anchorage. Our guide will discuss the natural history to include glacier, mountain and valley formations, point out flora and fauna, and stop at the best viewpoints along the hike. Hike can be customized to follow routes depending on whether you want flatter wide open trail, or a more advanced hike. Halfway into our hike, we will have snacks that have been locally sourced, to include caribou/moose sticks and local chocolate, unless you have a food preference which I can usually accommodate. Other things to note: It is advisable to wear closed-toe shoes (sport shoes are preferred) and comfortable clothing since we will be hiking. Please bring a water bottle. Safety reasons: if there is inclement weather, we will reschedule/refund if necessary. Dates not available? Please message us!

A walk through beautiful glacier country
Hello! I’d like to introduce myself, I am Sam. Our trip would start off with a meet and greet at the Seward train depo. We’ll go over our itinerary, which is a trip up to Exit Glacier. We will load up and take a 20 minute ride up to the trail head of exit glacier. Along our way we will discuss about Seward culture and history. At the trail head snacks and beverages will be provided. Before we hit the trail, a good struck is always good. To visit the glacier, it is only a 15 minute walk on a paved walk way, we’ll make stops along the way. These stops are for the plaques with more information about the glacier and environment. At the glacier everyone can take a break and I’ll discuss the history about Exit glacier and it’s gradual retreat over the years. After some good conversations we’ll start working our way back to the trail head. Stretching is key after a good walk, then back to the train depo to complete our trip. If weather isn’t the greatest we can reschedule for another time.
Beautiful rainforest/coast tours- gold, berries, history
I will take you on a customisable excursion based on what you would like to see here in beautiful Juneau and the rainforests that surround us. I am a geologist and amateur botanist with historical knowledge of the area including experience exploring the surrounding historical gold mines in the area. During the right season, we can choose to forage for berries or chantrelle mushrooms, and I can point out great fishing spots. A sample itinerary could include any of the following: A hike down a beautiful rainforest trail past 100 year old town ruins and historical mining machinery, and back out along the beach. A steep hike up Perseverance trail into the mountains, for more mining history with ruins and beautiful streams, with possible mountain goats and other animals. A tour of St Therese historic cathedral and the beautiful island it sits on in the middle of a beautiful rainforest with blueberry and moss cover, marmots running around along the coastal rocks. A hike to see jasper veins in majestic basalt rock cliffs against the ocean. A hike to touch the glacier ice on west glacier trail, across boulders and past rock cairns. Blueberry picking up a glacial river.
