On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

I found the Annexe was within walkable distance to Harpenden about 25 mins which is great on a fine day ( local taxis are available and not expensive ). You can walk via the Common or via Rothampsted Park both pleasant. Trains to London are fast and frequent and a combined tube and bus ticket is very flexible. The booking office staff are very helpful too . We went to Windsor on one day to which was less than an hours drive away . Eileen is a perfect host and will assist in anyway possible . oh yes the Annexe was lovely and warm ,we were free to come and go as we please and . Suited our needs very well . Would recommend

David's private suite was the perfect place for our short stay in London, it is clean, tidy and well made making it very cosy! There are many transportation options to go in town and the area around is also very lively and has many nice places to offer. David is super responsive, helpful and friendly. On top of all that the price was very fair making it an amazing value for money option! Definitely recommend

Yvonne’s place was an excellent Airbnb. The apartment was large, well lit, with a beautiful private living room, large kitchen and dining area, outdoor spaces to enjoy, bathroom with bath and shower and all amenities in the kitchen. The apartment is right next to a park, near to shops and restaurants and transportation. Yvonne is super friendly and her communication was timely and helpful. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Lynda’s Airbnb, from the moment I arrived, Lynda was a fantastic host she was extremely warm, welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and she even provided some great recommendations for local spots. The space itself was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities were perfect for a short stay. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, tea,coffee and even some wine. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend staying at Lynda’s place if you're visiting London.

I had a winderful stay in the annex. It was just the cozy retreat I needed after a day in London or out visiting relatives further afield. The location is very convenient and Sunita is a welcoming and accommodating host, very mindful of your privacy.

I had a wonderful time in this studio in Rickmansworth. it was bijou with everything very cleverly designed to make use of the space. The sofa bed was extremely comfy. The TV was superb with loads of channels. The WiFi excellent. Kettle and free teabags. if you like coffee there's a machine and free pods. An excellent small fridge. A microwave very handy for eggs. A sink for washing up. A table with cutlery. Lots of other things like a hair dryer etc etc. The shower was brilliant. Fresh towels provided. A very useful cooler. A nice patio. Parking outside was easy. Rachel organised the virtual permit. The road is quiet and I slept well. There is an m and s and Waitrose nearby. Lots of coffee shops and pubs and restaurants Only 40 mins into London on the nearby tube. A great base for exploring London. eg museums and Wembley stadium. Communication was excellent. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Stephen and Stefanie were great hosts. Very accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. We have two young children and there was a wonderful playroom to keep them occupied. Amenities were easy to use and clean. Would definitely come back!

My wife and I had a wonderful overnight stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect – so convenient for accessing trains to London. The self contained unit itself was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout (Elizabeth provided a full bottle of milk, coffee pods and biscuits!). The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Communication with Elizabeth was excellent. They were incredibly responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and a pleasant stay. We felt very well looked after. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect base for our weekend getaway, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nadia’s studio! From the moment I arrived, Nadia was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming—Communication was seamless throughout my stay; she was always quick to respond and genuinely cared that I had everything I needed. Especially at the check in process, where Nadia took the care to send very thorough instructions! The space itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, with every little detail taken care of. I’ve stayed in a few Airbnbs, and this one stands out not just for how clean and comfortable it was, but for the amazing hospitality that made all the difference. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that feels like a true home away from home!

I enjoyed my stay at Rangi's annex. The accommodation was perfect for me - private - but I liked the idea of being attached to the main house, in case I needed anything . The kitchen was very well appointed. Thank you, Rangi, for your kindness and making me feel so welcome.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here after going to Thorpe park for the day as it was only a 20 minute drive away, and it was absolutely beautiful. The garden was stunning and well kept, and the inside was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. We checked in later than the check in time as she was very flexible with this so she wrote us very helpful notes on how to access all areas of the property. We also ordered from their local indian which was recommended to us and it was lovely. 10/10 would recommend, and would definitely stay again.

The Rose Cottage was for us very pleasant and conveniant. My wife and I were here two nights. The day in between we visited our daughter and her Australian boyfriend who lives and works in London. The reception by Reginas husband was very warm, we felt welcome immediately. It was very conveniant that there ware all kinds of food and drinks for breakfast. Plenty of cutlery and a good, sharp kitchen knive, which is very rare in an AirBnB accommodation. The contact with the host Regina was perfect. She reacted promptly on every message or question we send. A fine extra is the use of the beautiful garden and the terrace. Also a plus was the nearby train station, indeed a 2 minutes walk. From here trains run to Waterloo Station. In short, the Rose Cottage is a very good place for visiting London city and sleeping in a less busy place nearby.

We had an amazing stay and Amy was a really good host giving us all the information we needed to access the property and enjoy our stay. The house is kept clean, tidy and perfect for what we needed. Thanks so much
