It is very conveniently located and is an excellent base from which to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia attractions. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis.
