Inspired by the Backcountry huts throughout the area, it provides a rustic country-style experience. Situated 15 minutes outside of Twizel in the heart of the Mackenzie, it has direct access to all of the natural amenities that the area is world famous for including snow sports, mountaineering, hiking & tramping, mountain-biking, hunting & fishing among many other activities.

With two queen beds, two king singles and a high chair & port-a-cot available on request, suitable for both families and friends.

Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Lakeview Cottage is at 8 Murray Place, which is short walk from the town centre, the Lake, the Church, Dog statue and restaurants and bars. The cottage has a homely feel and has been loved by guests that have stayed before. In the older established part of town, we can guarantee a quiet, enjoyable and peaceful stay.

A modern take on the family holiday home, this award winning design features lake/mountain views and a fabulous heated outdoor cedar and stainless steel bath in a private garden setting just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. It's just a five minute walk to local shops and amenities. Enjoy the easy feel of the open plan kitchen dining and living with large bi-folding doors opening out to the deck that flows right across the front and along one side of the house to showcase beautiful lake views.
