We had short stay in the Crofters Snug but wished we could have stayed longer! Was lovely waking up to the sea views. Found it easily with the directions provided and our dog loved the enclosed play area. Our wee cabin was compact with everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely break!

Rachael's cottage is wonderful - we stayed six nights in the Spring and it was delightful. We especially appreciated some really nice welcoming touches such as some fresh flowers and chocolates for our arrival. We also appreciated the comprehensive heating system the cottage has - it was a little cold outside but we were always snug and warm inside the cottage. Rachael also has two wood burning fires with plenty of wood provided and even some coal as well. The kitchen is also very well equipped with a modern oven and cook top. All in all a lovely stay in a lovely cottage in an amazing area - stunning views and in the Spring, tons of tiny and cute lambs right outside the front door! We will happily come back!

Fantastic two night stay - a warm welcome on arrival from Barbara. Comfortable, clean and warm with everything we needed plus additional extras tea, coffee, bread, butter, milk, homemade jams and a box of shortbread which was a really nice gesture. Easy walking into Kirkwall centre and a very peaceful setting. Thank you Barbara for making us so welcome.

amazing place to be, great walks nearby and amazing house. everything was very clean and looked brand new! the only thing we found to be annoying was the dirty oven, but that's an easy thing to overlook. overall a good stay!

Only issue we had was, that we didn’t stay long enough!! We will be returning and staying for much longer!! The cabin was warm, clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, hot tub was nice and hot! View was outstanding! We also loved how private it was. One of our favourite places we have stopped this year!

If you are travelling through Melvich book this air bnb. You will not be disappointed. Deborah’s attention to detail to make us feel at home was amazing. The house was spotless , welcoming with everything we needed. She very thoughtfully left us a tray of treats ( incredibly kind) She felt like an old friend and we wished we could have stayed more than one night. I didn't think it was possible, but this holiday home is even better in real life than the photos. Beautifully decorated, with homely touches so it doesn't feel cold like some holiday rentals. Everything was very clean and lots of modern touches ( like a great coffee machine, ice dispenser from the freezer and obviously the amazing hot tub). The views are fantastic, with a panoramic view of the amazing landscape. Kathleen was lovely to deal with and helped with a few restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend!
