No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

We are ideally located approximately 15 minutes from Dargaville and 10 minutes from Glinks Gully. We are the perfect base if you are exploring the Pouto Peninsula or looking to head to the gorgeous Kai Iwi Lakes or Trounson Park, home to the mighty Tane Mahuta. On 20 acres of farmland, we have 4 cattle, pet goats and a flock of suffolk sheep.

The cottage is set in a country style garden, surrounded by trees and creeks you won't feel like you are just 5 minutes from the town. The local shops are very close providing a dairy, bakery, pizza, fried chicken and Chinese fish n chips takeaways. Whangarei CBD is a direct 6 minutes drive, you'll reach the Town Basin with numerous cafes, The Hundertwasser art museum & loop walk along the Hatea river. Whangarei Falls, Whangarei Heads and the Tutukaka Coast an easy reach must see!

Renovated with unique touches, our 1 bedroom Studio space is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. A 15-20min walk along the Hatea Loop gets you to the Town Basin, home to newly opened Hündertwasser Museum, Wairau Māori Art Gallery, waterfront dining, and centre of town shopping. Best for 1-2 guests, but can snugly accommodate up to 4. Onsite carpark next to the self check-in studio apartment, fully detached & separate from the main house dwelling.
