The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

There are views of the Malvern Hills from the bedroom, and walks from the door into a network of rural footpaths and woods.
