This place is beautiful. An absolutely lovely retreat.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house and property are well maintained and everything functioned the way they should. The property offered a relaxing environment, which is what were looking for. Cynthia's place is dog friendly, which made our stay even better. Downtown is only a 10 minute ride. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend Cynthia's place to anyone who is seeking a quiet getaway in well kept home.

Mary's Cabin looked great in the pictures but was even more amazing in person! The bed and furniture were comfortable, the shower and bath were spacious, and the rugs and towels were plush. Everything was spotless and it was a perfect get-a-way spot for our wedding anniversary! It was perfect for 2 adults. It was so quiet and private which was amazing! Mary made delicious homemade muffins for us which were perfect for breakfast and so thoughtful! Even though we were in the woods we were still driving distance from Capon Bridge and Old Town Winchester which was great for food options for lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed Museum of the Shenandoah Valley which was also driving distance from the cabin (We spent a whole afternoon there exploring the museum, gardens, etc and could have stayed longer had it not been raining!) It rained most of our visit but we still enjoyed our stay because the cabin was so cozy! I highly recommend this cabin and hope we can come back!!

My friends and I stayed President’s day weekend. The cabin is relatively remote but the kitchen was fully stocked for when we cooked, the rooms were comfy and the fireplace was super nice. Berkeley springs is near by and I can’t recommend the hot springs enough - appointments are usually needed. Sean was a great host and was always fast to answer any questions. Overall, we had an amazing time.

We absolutely LOVED this glamper experience! All the amenities, surrounding area, and view made for a perfect getaway. We enjoyed several meals we made there, utilizing both the indoor kitchen and the outdoor grill. Dinner with a view doesn’t get much better than this. The hot tub made for an even more elevated experience. Couldn’t have asked for anything else! We can’t wait to come back!

My family and I had a great time. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard and we did hiking from the house. My wife and I loved sitting on the porch with a drink and listening to the steam across the road. There was a very extensive coffee/tea as well as snack selection. Rachael provided nice information about events during our stay before we arrived and was great at responding before and during the stay. I was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked and all the activities the place had. Every thing was very well thought out. Would highly recommend.

Darrel went above and beyond in making sure we had a great stay! He was kind, responsive and overall a superstar. We had an incredibly relaxing time and enjoyed the peace his listing had to offer. An EXCELLENT way to spend some time away from the city. I hope to come back soon! Couldn't be happier with Darrel's service!

We booked this cabin for a two-family Easter vacation. It was just perfect! The layout was spacious and beautiful. The best parts were the well-stocked kitchen (I made a 7 course Easter feast plus dessert), the comfortable and enclosed porch, and the general outdoors! The kids had so much fun hunting all around the yard and surrounding woods for their eggs and the adults had plenty of spaces to sit around a fire, relax in the hot tub, or enjoy some family games. We would absolutely book again!
