Carly was very helpful, thoughtful and efficient in all her communications. The house was ideal for our stay, comfortable and very well equipped.

I spent two weeks in Florin 's house. The house was impeccably clean and very well maintened, with all the amenities needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is located in a very peaceful area, close to public transport, perfect! Florin was a very attentive and responsive host during our interactions. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place!

What a wonderful stay we had, from booking to arrival, departure and aftercare the hosts were amazing. The house was lovely, clean, spacious and a fab location for us and great local food establishments nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled a long way and were delayed a few times but the hosts were flexible and patient on waiting for us. I also left a couple of items in the house and they very kindly posted them back to me. I can't recommend this place and the hosts enough. I will definitely book with them again. Thank you!!

Stayed here for two nights while attending a friends wedding nearby. Great location also for some bird watching around Rutland Water, especially the Ospreys at Lyndon. Accommodation was perfect, set in a beautiful walled garden. We had everything we needed and the place was pristine. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

What can I say…. Other than what a beautiful lovely little gem of a place this is to stay at. It was exactly what we needed for the situation we were in. Everything was beautifully presented and perfectly fitting for a quiet little retreat. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the place itself so quiet and tranquil. I can’t thank the hosts anymore for providing such a great little place to stay, and at a fantastic value for money!

Craig was the perfect host, probably the best we've ever had on AirBnB. The flat is in a great location, minutes walk from the centre of Nottingham and the Ice Arena with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, yet we could sleep with the windows open and it was perfectly quiet, like being in a small village instead of a busy city centre. Lots of thoughtful touches from bottles of water, pastries and biscuits to essentials like cooking oil, salt and pepper, plenty of toilet rolls, tissues, a toothbrush, you name it and Craig has thought of it. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and hopefully we'll be back next year.

Cannot thank Maggie again for going above and beyond to make our stay so perfect: we have felt so welcomed and looked after yet with complete privacy. What a clean, comfortable, well equipped and just beautiful place to stay filled with natural light, surrounded by garden and yet right in the village and so close to bigger towns and Rutland Water. This is one of the best Airbnb places we have stayed at. The location and the apartment are amazing. private , very clean and an amazing host. I highly recommend staying at Anna’s place. Everything was clean and tidy and all the amenities we needed were provided. Anna was very helpful in providing instructions with check in and information about where we could park. The breakfast products were also a lovely personal touch.

Maureen was a great host and even provided recommendations of restaurants and activities. Fantastic location for the sites and walks whilst also peaceful. Will definitely book again.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

This is a great apartment. All you need for a comfortable stay. We had the delight of lovely weather too. It is up 2 flights of stairs but very manageable 🙂

Garden Retreat is a lovely ground floor apartment with direct access to a lovely garden. The property was spotlessly clean with lots of additional touches such as phone chargers and torch. It was actually larger than I expected. It was comfortable with everything I could need and more. A large kitchen, comfortable lounge and quiet bedroom. The shower is blissful! Jonathan is lovely, welcoming but also respectful of privacy. There if needed. It’s about a 25 minute easy walk into Belper with its shops and eateries. Lots of great walks from the apartment and Belper. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my two dogs. I do hope I can visit again.

Beryl was a wonderful host! We stayed for 1 night as a quick stopover on a long journey and Beryl was very accommodating. Even though we booked with very short notice the space was immaculate so we could tell Beryl had very high standards. Everything was spotlessly clean and as described. We had a great nights sleep and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to use it due to our fleeting visit, the patio seating area was really nice and no doubt a great place to enjoy the countryside air. I would highly recommend Beryl’s place.
