We needed to stay in Armadale as one of our sons was competing in the rugby carnival. The accommodation was close to everything that we needed, was very well priced and was very clean. The host made the stay very easy.

The Counting House is a magnificent home. Lovingly restored, in pristine condition. Wonderfully located in the centre of town. Terrific heating, abundant hot water, beautifully furnished home equipped with all the mod cons. Belinda and Mike were kind and gracious hosts. I cannot recommend The Counting House highly enough. Absolutely first class.

We had a great time at Ben’s place. Very central location in Armidale with most things in walking distance. Quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Facilities very clean, smelt like dettol when we had just walked in!

Very clean, spacious and well located. Note there is no full length mirror (which I only point out as we were there for a black tie event!).

Johan's unit is exactly as described. It is spacious, clean and fantastically located to the main street of Inverell. There is some noise from the downstairs cafe of a morning, but this did not bother us. The car space is extremely small it would be very tight with anything SUV or larger. A fan in the bedroom would be beneficial in summer. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would stay again!

Great cottage nicely appointed inside and in convenient location walking distance to town centre. Fabulous host who was super friendly, responsive and flexible. Highly recommended.

Marie was a great host. We had to book in last minute and she couldn't have been more helpful. The next day we had to extend our stay and Marie relocated us to a second cottage on the same grounds within a few hours. We were with our doggies and they were also made to feel very welcome! The house was lovely and we felt right at home! Marie was also very responsive with everything to do with the booking! Very highly recommend to anyone visiting Armidale.

Paul is the perfect host, and he has put so much love, care, creativity and passion into preparing this character home for guests, it truly was a privilege to stay here for 2 nights with friends. Paul has a true talent for curating stunning interiors and exteriors. This home could easily be featured in a high-end living magazine. The inside spaces are warm, cosy and inviting, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal, the bedrooms are fitted with luxe linen and the newly renovated bathrooms had plenty of hot water for all. There is also a fully functional laundry room complete with quality appliances and an ‘info corner’ featuring brochures n the local area. Art, books, eclectic found objects, ceramics and soft lamp light abound inside, and the visual treats continue when you step outside into the expansive garden. We will definitely be back! Beautiful house in a very central (but quiet) part of Armidale - just minutes walk from the CBD. Well suited to our large family and was a great spot to stay for the The Armidale School Rugby Carnival.

Amazing property- lots of space for two families. Kangaroos grazing in the yard, lots of birds. Loved the kitchen, deck and pool table.
