Dr Karen and James are the most lovable AirBnB hosts I've seen in the UK. We planned our holiday at the last minute and they were very quick to respond. They were in touch before we arrive at the house and wanted to be sure we arrive there safely :) Karen opened the door even before we ring the bell. She showed us the house, asked us if we are hungry and served us cookies and tea before bed- like a mum :) It felt like home. Karen and James very lovely couple with excellent communication. Furthermore, James gave us a ride to Glasgow city centre in the morning because he was worried that we might not catch the tour bus. He woke up early and even prepared breakfast for us. Just a night was enough to feel like they are my friend. If I go to Glasgow again, I'd like to stay there.

I simply can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my time at Rhona and Hugh’s lovely home. Their hospitality was warm and genuine, and every detail was considered. I felt comfortable and looked after. It was just the quiet prelude I was hoping for before starting the West Highland Way. I’ll be back!

John is such a friendly and helpful host. It’s a great room with a big TV and comfy bed. The cats were so loving and cute!

After 5 bnbs I can say that Debbie’s place is on the top of my list. Not that I had bad experiences elsewhere on the contrary, but apart from loving the room, the cleanliness of the house stood out, it smelled good and welcoming. It was quiet and comfy.Just next to the train station and a few minutes walk to the bus stops. Debbie was so nice and I felt right at home, she even did laundry for me! Breakfast is also appreciated as it was not included or was minimal elsewhere. If I come back to Glasgow Debbie’s place will be the one I’ll hope to stay at!

The house is perfect, with a big bedroom. I enjoyed the chat with Eileen about different things. Eileen made me feel like home. I really recommend the house.

Patricia was so helpful and kind during my stay! She provided a map of the city, easy transportation instructions, and recommended some local spots to check out. Really enjoyed my comfortable stay and our kitchen chats :)

Fue el mejor rbnb del mundo! Era la primera vez que viajaba sola y me quedaba durante 3 meses en el extranjero por pasantia de posgrado, y Diana me hizo sentir como si estuviera en mi segundo hogar. Sus gatos son encantadores y parte de la familia. Amè la tranquilidad y seguridad del vecindario. Si bien me quedaba a 1 hora de mi Universidad (Stirling), realmente valió todos los viajes en tren. No podría haber encontrado algo mejor que el hogar de Diana para esta experiencia de vida. Lo agradeceré por siembre.

What a bloke he is, gave me recommendations on a few pubs in the area, always responded when I messaged, lovely place, I go to Glasgow regularly to watch my football team, won’t name them lol, but seriously worth the money, 3 minutes walk from nearest station and costs £2.80 for a return to Glasgow Centre. Will book again for next month.

Absolutely lovely with no detail overlooked! It was like staying at the home of a favorite relative. This was obviously a home, not a generic flat box, Amazon and Wayfair outfitted rental property. Proper dish towels, kitchen “junk drawer”, every cooking item you could possibly need - move in ready. Fantastic neighborhood within easy walking distance to public transportation, dining, shopping, sightseeing. Prompt response from owner on question re heating, explicit directions in unit on every appliance and electronic. Highly recommend.

Libby was a perfect host, extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. The accomodation was just as described if not better, the bedroom nice and spacious, with private shower and toilets. Staying in Glasgow at Libby's was simply a delight, and I'd definitely come back, given the occasion!

Joe was very proactive in communication and making sure we knew how to access the property. I was booking this on behalf of friends and Joe was accommodating and understanding for this unusual situation. The property was clean and fit the description well. It's a good location with easy transport routes into Glasgow and elsewhere.

It was going from a home to another home❤️ if you are planning on staying with Nikki, don’t hesitate to book. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, she made me feel so at peace and comfortable. Upon arrival I was offered tea, a friendly conversation and a hot water bottle ready in my bed for the cold Scottish weather! She made sure I was always warm enough throughout my stay even going as far as to offer me a luxury wooden jumper! The place is cozy, with fascinating books to indulge in and Dagmar to keep you company 🐈 breakfast was provided and I was encouraged to treat the space like my own. Nikki’s place has a wonderful view to the surrounding nature and the inside is full of colour and character! Shower was wonderful and I was welcomed to use the Scottish cosmetics! She was always on hand if I needed to ask anything or felt unsure, prepared to advice with activities to do. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest yourself, staying with a local, then here it is.

Lovely flat in a great location for Merchant City and the city centre. Great communication with Rishi, nothing was too much of a problem.

Zoe's lovely home is perfectly located on a picturesque, quiet leafy street, yet just a short walk from streets filled with an abundance of great places to eat and charming local shops. Zoe’s place is also within walking distance of some of Glasgow’s most beautiful sights, such as the Cathedral, the iconic Necropolis, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and West Brewery. If you’re not keen on walking, there are also bus stops close by that take you directly into the city center (a quick 5-10 minute ride). The house itself is exquisitely decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and our private room was meticulously clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged for a relaxing stay. Zoe herself is the perfect host—warm, generous, and effortless to chat with. We shared many delightful conversations and laughs during our visit, and she offered many a great recommendation for our time exploring. The whole experience felt less like a stay and more like a home away from home. A true gem!

We stayed only one night but it was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the dogs so cute !

Margaret is a superb host and we enjoyed the beautiful cottage! The breakfast was excellent as well 😊. A lot of recommendations by the host on what to do, where to hike, where to eat etc. We also got to visit Margaret’s sheep farm and feed a lamb!!! ❤️

This was my second stay at Bamflatt farm and it was just as perfect as last time. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The Airbnb is set well back off the road and has parking directly in front of the property so feels safe to leave a car full of stuff. I will definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at The Stable and once again we had a lovely time. The location is perfect - felt really rural and peaceful with sheep and cows just outside but still walkable to the centre of Balloch. It is just a short drive to many stunning locations around Loch Lomond and we ventured a bit further to Loch Katrine this time which was beautiful. The room has everything you could need and is beautifully decorated. Sheila is a wonderful host and so helpful. Fabulous provisions for breakfast too. We're looking forward to our next trip back!!

I had a great time at Laura's place even if it was only one night. The place is amazing and the warm welcome from Laura were just perfect. I would definitely want to come again to stay longer.
