Along with the other reviews, we found this a fantastic house in a perfect location. An historic pub just around the corner, walkable to the city, it had everything we needed. Paul attended immediately to a couple of minor issues and is a friendly communicator. My sister and I really enjoyed our week in York and it was great to return home to a comfortable house each day.

Siobhan is a proactive host and messaged me with all the instructions for the house. Communication was brilliant throughout our stay and we were given excellent driving instructions to find the house. It's a little narrow on the street to park, but once there, you can leave your car (parking permit is available ) and walk because the location is amazing - so near to everything. The beds were super comfy and the bath is a good size to rest your weary bones after all that walking!! The lounge is comfy and there's a TV etc - has a real friendly feeling about the house. To be honest, we weren't in the house that long, so we didn't really use the kitchen or anything, just slept! Thanks 🙏

John is the perfect host. The house is beautiful and is home from home. John has great taste and is so helpful. The location is perfect for access to the Town. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Roger’s place for a few nights. The location was brilliant only 15 minutes walk into York centre, local shops and takeaways nearby and a nice peaceful street. The house itself is spacious, clean and has all the amenities you could need, with a handy manual available with all the information inside. Whenever we had communication with Roger he was always prompt, helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone and we would happily stay again!

Stayed the weekend with my parents and three children (teenagers and 9 years old) We loved the location! The townhouse was lovely, the beds were comfortable and we had a great stay. But the standout was Bishy Ave and the quick walk into the city. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful home in a historic building near Lendal Bridge. Great location for walking into town and also within short (7 minutes or so) walking distance from station. Everything was very functional and we wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a fabulous time at Laura’s place. It was well equiped and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all of our party which consisted of three generations. The location is perfect and we were right in the middle of the historic “shambles”. Laura was very responsive to questions and instructions were very clear. The house was toasty warm which was good as we had arrived in York from an Australian summer. I would definitely stay at Laura’s again and recommend to friends wanting to visit York.

We had an excellent few days in monk bar court. The location is very central and close to Yorkminster. The Wheelwrights team were very helpful and responsive. Recommended.

Brilliant location, very nice house with a great seating area at the back with a view of the river. Sun trap in the afternoon. Would use again because of access to city centre

We stayed at Raphie's place for 2 nights with our young sons, it was great. great location for walking to the park and to shops and restaurants. The house was lovely - beautifully decorated and lots of home comforts. Raphie had also left some lovely amenities for us to enjoy in the fridge! A great alternative to a hotel that made for a really enjoyable break - we would definitely come back again!

We stayed at Kate’s property to see family. It was booked last minute then added an extra day early last minute. Kate is a fantastic host who makes sure you know all the details, very quick responses and a lovely lady. We realised the pool table was missing two balls, I messaged Kate and she ordered new ones and dropped them off to us the next day :)

We loved our stay at Sarah's place in York. It was very central, while still being in a calm area of the city right next to the city walls. Sarah gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and we particularly enjoyed our evening meal at skosh close by. The amenities in the flat were great, with comfy sofas and beds and a decent kitchen as well. There is also parking although we did not use this.

This place is a gem. Its a home from home in Beverley a five minute walk from town centre and also the Minster. Even a Parking space. Its everything we wanted and more for a great stay. Lovely homely decor and spotlessly clean. You can see why many people have stayed here on more than one occasion. We may just do the same. Louise is a great host and very responsive and her attention to the little details shines through.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely Airbnb in York. The location was ideal – just a short walk to the historic city centre, with shops, cafés, and sights all within easy reach. The place itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cosy, and I really appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, coffee and tea, and helpful local recommendations.

Lovely place. Easy to find. Close to the town. 15-20 min walk. Quiet area. Roof top terrace a nice bonus. Very clean and tidy. Lovely bed linen and towels. And nice touch with the crumpets. Butter. Tea. Coffee. Fresh milk and water. Loved York. Would 100% recommend to others.

This stay was absolutely perfect for us. We booked it for a conference, and it was central, extremely clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay again!

First time booking with air b n b and this was a gem to find. Beautiful house with the little added extras. The beds were so comfortable. Great location being so close to all amenities and the train station. Great hosts, will definitely return x

The house is a perfect spot to stay in and explore beautiful Beverly. We booked this lovely town without realising how perfect it is. The countryside surrounding Beverly is stunning and the town it self is a quaint and picturesque market town with pubs (live music) restaurants, cafes and shops you don't see on the high street that often. Just lovely. The house had very comfortable beds, was clean, tidy and very well appointed. Parking was not a problem we manage to outside the house the whole time we were there. There is also 2 other car parks you can see from the house which were never full.

A beautiful comfortable home in a great location with everything within walking distance. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and the little thoughtful touches such as a loaf of bread and milk in the fridge were much appreciated. Thank you and will definitely be staying again.

This is a stunning home that has been beautifully presented, it took our breath away, so very chic and absolutely pristine. It's a beautifu shortl walk along the river into the centre of York. Carol is a great host very friendly. We would definitely stay again it was a perfect weekend.
