We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins. The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

We had a lovely two night stay here as an early Mother’s Day present with my mum and my 2 young boys. We had a fab meal at the Trout inn which is in walking distance from the cottage all on the flat. Really peaceful area and the boys loved the hot tub! Thank you for a great time, would definitely return 😀

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

Had a wonderful stay, everything was as described and we had a wonderful time. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco was the cherry on top. Great location with a great view from the hot tub. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing weekend away !

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

Richard was a fantastic host for our Easter family holiday. Beautiful cottage, stunning surroundings and immaculate, one of the best AirBnB places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country. Local pub was fab and very friendly for our 6 year old.

It’s our third stay here and as always we have had a wonderful time. The beds are so comfortable, the chalet is well equipped (the pre set up smart tv was a really lovely addition this time), the location is perfect and easy to get to, and we love the sun trap terrace which gets the sun all day.

The five of us and our young dog had a lovely Easter weekend staying at Lisa’s house. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with some wonderful coastal walks nearby to wear us out. The garden was large with plenty for our dog to explore and the house was as described with a modern well equipped kitchen, large lounge with dining area and comfortable beds in bedrooms with plenty of storage. You need to do your research to find pubs and restaurants that allow dogs as they need to be driven to and pre booking is recommended. Our host Lisa was very accommodating and responded to all our questions quickly and helpfully. A visit to the nearby Flamborough Head lighthouse and coastal walk is a must to see the seals on the secluded beach. We would certainly book again.

Lovely place to stay, only 10 minutes from York city centre and the area is so peaceful. Michelle was a great host, she clearly takes pride in hosting as the whole place was clean and tidy! My boyfriend only had one complaint, that we didn’t get more scones! 😂 Overall a wonderful place, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a romantic weekend away.

Beautiful homely cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything that you need. A lovely hamper on arrival with delicious biscuits that were gluten and dairy free for one of the guests which was a very kind touch. Perfect for our dog fully enclosed yard, and a very peaceful location, not far to travel to many places nearby. I would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return again. Thank you for allowing us and our friends to stay, a lovely weekend we all had.

We had a great stay at Roger’s place for a few nights. The location was brilliant only 15 minutes walk into York centre, local shops and takeaways nearby and a nice peaceful street. The house itself is spacious, clean and has all the amenities you could need, with a handy manual available with all the information inside. Whenever we had communication with Roger he was always prompt, helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone and we would happily stay again!

Pretty much perfect. Accommodation exactly as described and has all mod cons one could hope for. Karen and Andy are excellent hosts who are attentive and helpful whilst giving you the space and privacy you would hope for. Perfect place for dogs: the paddock is fantastic for playtime’s. It is clear that it is important to the hosts that you enjoy your stay; there are many thoughtful and personalised gestures on arrival. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic weekend in York staying with Lisa. The flat was in a perfect location for walking into the city with a lovely local pub and shops nearby. Lisa met us on arrival and was very friendly and gave us great recommendations of the local area! Would recommend to anyone 😊

Sunset Cottage is a lovely cottage with amazing views in a very peaceful location. It was spotlessly clean and everything you could need was there . Tony the owner was very friendly and helpful . Nice welcome pack as well . Loved hearing the owls and watching what looked like 2 young ones flying about early in the morning. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back as soon as we can . Thank you Tony for letting us stay .

check in was smooth and easy. The only thing I would’ve liked was a washing machine, but everything else was perfect. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting York!

I stayed here for 10 weeks while working temporarily in Hull - it was perfect! The flat was cosy, quiet, safe, and very convenient for walking around Beverley and for getting to shops, the railway station, the bus station etc. Parking was around the corner at the ASDA carpark, which was also very safe and convenient - about a ten minute walk away and there was also some on-street parking near the flat which were free for an hour - useful for loading/unloading luggage. The flat had everything I needed for living in for a long period - the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and modern appliances , and it was so comfortable to stay there for a longer period. Nic was very reponsive and communicative - she came round straight away when the fire alarm battery needed changing! I had no problems during my stay. The wifi was brilliant and the TV was linked up to iPlayer, Netflix etc. I loved my stay and would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in a very clean, little house. Modern fittings, very well equipped, very quiet area, 10 mins walk from the centre of York. Secure off street parking was also included, a real bonus as York is a lot of permit parking only. Would definitely recommend this great little house, thank you for letting us stay.

As a family we had a lovely stay at Milliners Cottage, the atmosphere was very cozy and charming, we greatly appreciated that it was child friendly and some toys had been left out for our little grandson to play with . Helen and Patrick very kindly kept us a car parking space outside the house. We will definitely look to book again whenever we come up to visit with family. Thank you Val

Beautiful home with lots of space and only a very short walk to the city centre. Host was very friendly and communication was excellent. A perfect stay and I would highly recommend.

Angela's place was an amazing. It is very nice and modern. One of my favourite parts was the convenience to shops, restaurants, and the main city of York. It was all within walking distance. If you like Indian food, I would highly recommend stopping by Naz Spice. The food there was very good, and they server good sized portions. The staff was very friendly and we had a great time. The neighborhood around the house was very quiet. It was outside the main city so there is very little through traffic. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful cottage with amazing facilities, lovely decor, comfy beds, spectacular scenery. Everything was catered for…thoughtful continental breakfast, with little touches like milk and kids cereal. Loved the cows, horses and farm! Liz was great at keeping us informed about stuff and was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm, which we loved. Brilliant stay. Thank you Liz!
