We had a lovely overnight stay in the Shepherds hut. Stella went out of her way to leave everything we asked for. We were looking for a unique stop over o. The way home from camping in the lakes. Joseph’s shepherds hut was chosen and it was a great choice. We had great directions and it’s a lovely quiet setting. A short walk into the village was nice to explore. Once back we had an evening meal using the cooking facilities and played Monopoly with logs crackling on the small log burner ( all supplied cut for free). We slept well and out son commented on how nice it was to hear the birds waking him up. Stella & Ian let us enjoy our surroundings uninterrupted. Really nice memory added to our trip. Just wish we had more time to try the restaurants in the village.

Lovely van stocked with everything you need for your trip. Great, in-depth video for check in so you know how to operate everything before you get there. Martin was really helpful with advice for advice on the area for our first trip to the Lakes. We look forward to doing another one in the future.

We had a lovely peaceful week at Simone’s caravan. It was clean and had lovely views with a short walk to an amazing beach.

What an amazing house and beautiful place to stay. Juliet and Alan were great hosts and it was everything we needed. Great kitchen spaces to help us host 14 people, some great perks with the games room and meeting the llamas and a lovely little village to wonder down to. Would recommend a trip here.

A really lovely experience. Never done anything like this before so wasn’t sure what to expect. We had a warm welcome from the hosts who answered all our questions. Liz was very informative before our arrival. Murdock is so much fun, everyone should give it a go x

Brilliant first time in a campervan. The van was spotless and Martin was a great guy to deal with. We had a lovely time exploring the lovely Lake District and wild swimming. The van was easy to drive and amazing on fuel! We will definitely hire it again in the future! Thank you

Beautiful place, managed to catch 3 fish too to add to a very lovely weekend. We will be recommending to everyone we know! Lovely weather so got a sunrise and sunset too! Everyone on site was so welcoming too which added to our experience. Would definitely return!

fantastic peaceful place for a relaxing stay. The horsebox is fitted out with everything you need and is extremely clean. The fields are perfect for walking the dogs. can't fault the place.

We had a great stay. Chris was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. The location was idyllic...we arrived to see hares and partridges in the field. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a BBQ and watching the sunset. Tent was very comfortable. Our girls (10, 7) loved the cabin bed and said they had the best time! Thank you to Chris. We hope to be back again.

We loved our stay for a night in Molly. Molly has all the essential things you need for a day and feels very cosy. Would recommend for only 2 people travelling as Molly is small in size. We would love to come back again for stay in Molly.

We had such a great stay! Emma was so helpful, great communication before our arrival, the fire pit was great & being able to get a tub of wood for £5 from Emma was great! Beautiful location, peaceful & quiet & lovely walks locally & we used it as a base to climb cross fell. Clearly stated it was a working farm & basic facilities which were as expected & good for what we needed! We shall be back!

Thank you so much to Gary and family for a perfect stay, we wanted something different for my best friends birthday and it was so lovely! Gary was so helpful from the beginning, even put out banners and prosecco for when we arrived, we loved being surrounded by the animals and the view from the adorable caravan was so relaxing. So much thought and care was put into every single aspect of our stay and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family, we hope to come back at some point soon :)

I just want to say a big thank you to Jo and her dad for building a fully off grid shepherds hut that is beautiful inside and out. We booked very last minute due to an issue where we were camping, Jo quickly accepted our request and communicated with us in a prompt and friendly manner. We arrived at Jo’s hut at nearly 8pm and she went above and beyond making sure we were looked after and was waiting for us to show us the basics which was a lovely touch. The hidaway hut has been crafted in a way that you have everything you need should you forget anything. Jo is extremely friendly and attentive and will make sure you have a lovely stay! Although it was a short stay of only a few hours we had such a good nights sleep and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Didnt utilise the place enough, great place in what feels a world of its own. You feel far away from life and the busy nature it is. Perfect to relax, unwind, chill, recharge and rest from life itself. The surrounding areas are beautiful and there are a few nice towns to visit close by. Kirsty is a great host and i would highly recommend

Loved our stay at the lily cabin. The hot tub was great, nice and private with quiet environment. Bed was comfy and restaurant staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again

We loved the place! Highly recommend! The photos show the place but I don't think they fully captured the charm of being there. The cabin was really nice and clean, the surrounding area was beautiful, there was a communal kitchen area which had a fridge and all you need for cooking. The cabin also had some wood and kindling for the fire. The hosts Paul and Kay were really helpful, sent us a guide for the accommodation and area as well as a video showing how to get there. They were both really helpful and quick to get back to messages. Paul was there when we arrived and showed us round as well as giving recommendations of the local area. He also left some fresh eggs from their chickens when we said we would be cooking breakfast in the morning. The place is quite secluded and accessed along a narrow road, we opted to leave our car at the bottom and walk up which took 5 minutes. There's place to park right next to it and a video showing the road but we were happy just to walk up.

Loved this wee hut so much I booked an extra night and now that I'm home I'm really quite sad to have left it. Raewyn is an excellent host, very responsive and very helpful which is always appreciated. I'm a solo traveller and spending 3 nights in this place has been magical for me. The location is perfect and you have everything you need in the hut. The toilet, sink and shower is such an amazing added bonus too. I also caught my first perch here and I've blanked for almost a year haha so I honestly can't fault anything about my trip. I wish I was still there :( Thank you for such an amazing experience. I can't wait to return! ❤️

We just had 2 nights, in the double decker bus and absolutely loved it!! It’s designed beautifully super cool stay, hot tub and added bonus!!. The host left Easter treats for our children along with birthday balloons for our son. Which was super thoughtful and very much appreciated. Lovely welcome basket, lots of nice little home touches. Had a lovely bank holiday stay, we had a smooth arrival, and we were welcomed by Fiona. Lovely space to stay, loved the hot tub, and daughter loved toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, and exploring the river. Great place to have some quality family time. Thank-you.
