This was our second stay at Debbie's wonderful apartment on the beachfront in Westward Ho! The location is perfect, with everything on the doorstep and the apartment was just as clean and homely as our first stay 3 years prior. So many cafes and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, souvenir shops, arcades and activities, kids play park - everything we need for a short family getaway. Debbie is a lovely host and we'd definitely consider staying again if we plan another trip to Devon. Make sure you visit The Big Sheep...10 mins away and a brilliant day out for the kids!

The apartment was modern and well stocked. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, and the location was excellent, private parking which included the use of an EV charger. Local amenities were great too with a Sainsbury’s and Morrisons located within 5 mins drive. Crooklets beach which is 1 minute walk from the apartment was great with local bars and cafe, however we walked a little further along the coast and visited Summerleaze beach which was amazing. Cornish Secrets customer services rep Kate was really helpful, on the first night we had an issue with the EV charger and contacted Kate at 21:30hrs, she has the issue resolved before 22:00. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend visiting

This place is in a great location, is very modern, clean and well equipped. We stayed for a week at the end of August with two children and had a great time in Bude and the surrounding area. The closest beach is easily walkable, but with two children and lots of beach stuff we took the car a couple of times, but there was plenty of parking, especially at Croocklet's beach, which is a bit further away. The beach itself is great for kids, with plenty of space and lots to do (rock pools, waves, sea pool, etc.) The accommodation is in a new block, with a spacious deck and a lovely view over-looking the canal, where you can also hire paddle boards, boats, or just walk. The Check-in and out was very easy and instructions were clear and simple. We were very happy with the stay at Andrew's place.

Just awesome. We loved this place from the moment we walked in the front door. Ended up extending our stay. Warm, light and comfortable. Modern and spotless. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Nice being able to open the blinds (upstairs or down) first thing and see the sea. Short walk to the shops and the beach. Longer walks in all directions. A very happy week in Woolacombe.

What a real gem 💎 sadly we only had 1 night stay. Beautiful spot, sea view, spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen. Garden with a view. easy access to the town. Everything within walking distance. comfy bed with 2 bathrooms. all room with Seaview... If this place comes available.... I recommend... Book it! and you will not be disappointed. Staff are amazing. My partner enjoy playing chess in the game room... and obviously... super dog friendly 😍

We had a lovely stay here last night. Hosts were very friendly and gave us a little bag of treats for the dog and home made shortbread for us which was delicious! Annex was spotless and had plenty of tea, coffee, fresh milk, shower gel and things which was very handy. The annex is in a lovely quiet location with easy access to Bideford town and a short drive to westward Ho! Thank you Debbie and Richard for a lovely stay.

Stunning views. Great location to explore beach and coastal path.

The West Wing has been a great stay. It’s a cool 17th century house, which has been really well decorated. There’s plenty of inside and outside space to read and put your feet up with a countryside view. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, olive oil, coffee, tea etc, and shower gel and shampoo is provided in the en suite. The owners hid some chocolate in the house as a little surprise - very thoughtful. Another thoughtful thing was offering up fresh eggs from the hens outside in the garden. The owners left lots of helpful instructions and recommendations of places to visit. They’re friendly and welcomed us at the beginning and warned us of an issue with a road before we left to help us on our way home. Location wise this Airbnb is perfect. It’s a short drive from beautiful places like Woolacombe, Croyde and Exmoor. It’s very close to the SW Coastal Path, so you can easily hire bikes in Barnstaple and ride part of the path. I would definitely stay again 😃

Great house in a perfect location to walk to the beach. Spotlessly clean with everywhere well equipped. This was our second visit and we will return again soon. Cori is a great host who is very helpful and does everything she can to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

Wonderful place for a New Year’s Eve getaway. Ant and Amanda’s bolt hole was perfect….cosy, everything you could want or need and great location. They were very welcoming and always helpful. We would highly recommend their place at any time of the year

A great house in a lovely location right beside the Tarka Trail. The house had loads of space, great communal areas for everyone. John spoke to me on the phone and was very welcoming and helpful. Many thanks John, we had a great stay.

A lovely stay, had everything you could possibly need - we had two infants with us and loved the amount of space. Felt like we where out in the countryside but only 5mins from a big food shop. Lots of lovely walks nearby

We had a great stay at Anchor Down. The house is in a great location just around the corner from the village. The house felt spacious and bright, with beautiful views from the bedroom windows. Great communication from Steve throughout making for a pleasant experience!

I had an amazing time, caravan was was pristine and felt homely Clare was helpful and very responsive when needed, will definitely be returning in the future and I loved my stay

Tim was great Host, great communication and clear instructions. Apartment was as advertised, tidy, clean, nicely decorated and modern. Kitchen equipped if you plan on staying in to cook etc. Stone throw….from cafes/bar/shops etc Beach just at the bottom of Hill. Could recommend enough. Thanks again :)

We stayed here for a wedding at Tunnels Beaches which was less than a 5 minute walk away so ideal location! Kirsten was very friendly and was easy to contact - replies were instant. The property was lovely and had all amenities you needed. There were lots of thoughtful little touches like toiletries you may have forgotten and dog towels should you bring a four legged friend! It can be a little hard to find the property, as it’s tucked in, but Kirsten provided clear instructions which I would follow over the sat nav. A wonderful couple of days - thanks again.

We had a wonderful stay at Tors Park. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and perfect for the two of us and our dog. It felt like a real home away from home. While we were slightly disappointed that there weren’t any welcome touches for our dog, especially considering the additional pet fee - and that access to the sauna and plunge pool came at an extra cost, these were only minor drawbacks. We also encountered a few hiccups with the check-in process and locating our apartment after a long six-hour journey, which could have been smoother. That said, we truly enjoyed our time at Tors Park and would absolutely love to return, the views alone are worth every penny. Lynmouth is breathtakingly beautiful and offered the perfect escape from city life.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment, views were amazing and you will find everything you need in the apartment. A real luxurious feel to the apartment from the moment you walk in. Beds were comfortable and shower was lovely. It felt safe for our 2 year old toddler and there is lots of space which helped when we had a couple of rainy days. There are lots of walking opportunities either by the beach, across the cliff tops or into town. Nearby restaurants were all great too (best pizza at TJs ever!).

We had a fantastic stay at The Retreat in Croyde. The place was spotless, nicely decorated in a cosy, relaxed style, and had everything we needed for a self-catered holiday. The hosts had thought of lovely touches, like leaving us some local milk, great quality teas, and some kombucha — a really nice welcome after a long journey. You can tell they care about clean, natural living, both in how the space is set up and the products they offer. The views from the window were lovely, and having our own parking space was a real bonus. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and accommodating to anything we needed, which made the whole experience easy and relaxed. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends. It’s the kind of place I’d happily pick over a hotel — great value for the cleanliness, comfort, and location.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. EV charger was a real bonus for us and made getting around hassle free. The apartment was exactly as described and had all mod cons, felt like home from home. Fiona was a great host and communication was great.
