Lovely, spacious apartment in a great location. The whole place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very nicely furnished. Bathrooms are great with powerful showers. Lovely outside space to sit out when the sun shines. We’ve stayed in lots of properties in Ballater and this is our favourite.

The perfect Airbnb to end our trip. My husband and I spent 4 nights backpacking in the Cairngorms and we ended our trip in Inverness. This Airbnb was like a little hideaway. It was calm, clean and cosy. It felt like a log cabin in the middle of the city. The perfect way to ease back into the “real world” after being in the wilderness.

Jane was just great, so helpful and accommodating. The flat was beautifully clean and worked brilliantly for us visiting our friend. We had the most fabulous weather and loved our early morning walks on the beach. We will definitely be back!

Lovely apartment looking straight onto the golf course and beach. Nice to be able to walk right out of the kitchen and living room onto the lawn to sit down or stretch the legs. Fantastic, hope to come back.

excellent accomodation, very comfortable, clean and close to a beautiful beach and a great forest just off the beach. All amenities, bars, restaurants, ice cream shops are close by. We didn't eat out in Lossiemouth, but we did get a couple of takeaways. The Ocean Pearl, takeaway, was delicious and an excellent standard of food. the Galley fish and chip shop, near the accomodation, offered us a brilliant, crispy fresh, fish and chips - we definitely recommend a visit there too. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate in returning to this apartment. We have also highly recommended it to our family and friends.

We truly loved our stay here. The place was spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly welcoming - it immediately felt like home. Every little detail had been thoughtfully taken care of, which made our stay completely stress-free. Coming from a rural area ourselves, we felt a deep connection to the peaceful surroundings - it brought back a sense of home in the most comforting way. The hosts made us feel genuinely cared for, and that famous Scottish hospitality shone through from start to finish. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back. Haste ye back!

Great location only a short walk into the main streets of Inverness and close to restaurants and shops

We loved out stay at Anna's place, it instantly made us feel at home away from home. Our daughter loved the bath tub en we loved having breakfast (with eggs from Anna) with such a stunning view. Thanks a lot!

We were very pleased with the place. The owners did nice special touches to show they put thought and care into your stay and feeling welcomed. The little things (treats, the sign, the pre-arrival message, the decor, the juice/milk in the fridge, etc) were nice touches. The photos don't actually do the place justice as we thought it looked even cuter in person. Very stylish rooms and it felt like a home. We were there for a short time but I could see how it would be nice for a family or small group. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Sian gave clear instructions on how to find the accommodation and was always willing to help in anyway. The accommodation had everything you need to make you feel like you were at home. The covered area in the back garden was a place where you could relax after a busy day travelling or looking round the local area. We had a great week at Sian’s home and it was a good base for seeing the local attractions. Many Thanks Sian

A lovely home that is conveniently located and gave our family of 6 a comfortable base for the 2 days we spent in the city. House came equipped with comfy beds and the welcome gift was a sweet touch!!

Such a wonderful place to stay in Inverness! The home is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. We really appreciated the comfy TV lounge room and the large bathroom downstairs. It is in the perfect location for an easy walk into town and is in a quiet neighborhood. Jill was very responsive and helpful - an excellent host. We are so happy we chose to stay here!

We’ve just completed a weekend with Bruce after doing a cycling event in the area. Bruce is the best host on Airbnb I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He helped us out on a Saturday night with some bike stuff, which he really didn’t need to do. Was a really nice guy. The location of the property is so peaceful but close enough to the entertainment if needed. A car is recommended. Finding the property on google maps takes you straight there without any hassle. The property itself is exactly as described. It’s immaculately clean throughout, everything you could need is there. I really don’t have any negatives to say about it. We stayed in this property while we were working in the area and had a nice stay. The property is very nicely decorated and in great condition. You get a wonderful view of the beach especially on sunny days. There is also a couple of restaurants and pubs in walking distance from the property so if you’re looking to go out for something to eat and a few drinks you don’t need to look far. We were very happy with our stay.

Grant and Jody’s place is in a piece of paradise, near the River Spey. Hosts were communicative and reassuring. Honestly this is a place I’d love to live. If circumstance allows I’d love to stay here again while taking photos of minke whales. WiFi is fast, perfect for doing remote work and writing a novel. Bed is cosy and soft. Apartment is warm in the cold weather. Until we meet again beautiful apartment by the river and the sea.

Stopped for one night on way to Highlands. Very clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. Jacqueline has thought of everything, down to dog bowls and dog towels. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverness.

Number 124 was all and more that we expected and we hope that there will be other opportunities to stay. We would also not hesitate in recommending the apartment to other visitors.

The annex is exactly as shown in the pictures, super cozy and warm. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking at home but, should you need anything (like scales for baking), David and Lisa gladly and quickly provide it. The living room/bedroom was spacious for us not to be in each other's way, it kept warm (heating had to be on the lower settings!), and the views are amazing. The spacious bathroom was super clean, and the shower is the best one I have found in years! The place is so quiet, you barely hear the rain! The nearest bus stop is about 30/40 minutes' walk away if you are comfortable walking on country roads with no lighting (headtorch, a must). You might get lucky and be stopped on your tracks by some deer crossing the road right in front of you like we did on our way back from Inverness :) If you are after a place to hibernate and hide from the crowds, this is the one!

The Old Icehouse is anything but cold. Beautifully presented apartment with everything you need for your vacation. Lots to do in the area. Having the beach just across the road was perfect. We were treated to amazing sunsets almost nightly. The walk up the coast to Tarbat Ness is worth doing.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was neat, clean, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was peaceful, with nearby amenities within easy walking distance. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and made the process completely stress-free. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay!
