A beautifully set up and self contained apartment. Lovely gardens and easy access to the countryside and the city. Being in a cul-de-sac and near the top of the hill also meant it was beautifully quiet and relaxing. The bus service to and from the city was excellent for evenings out and about. Great information pack to get up to speed on the local area and facilities. Cosy living room and great kitchen set up. The hot tub was a bonus to relax after the days spent walking the dog and exploring the area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Kate and Andrew were great hosts and super helpful to make our stay easy and stress free. Definitely recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jay Barn! While the house is on a busy road, it felt very private once on the property. We stayed over the Easter weekend and were doing lots of baking and cooking - the kitchen had every appliance you could need. The house was spotless, spacious, and we felt at home immediately. A car is essential as there is nothing realistically in walking distance, but pubs a 2 minute drive. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away with family or friends. Lovely homely stay, very comfy beds and sofa, well equipped kitchen and brilliant hot tub! Donna was so welcoming, helpful and responsive if needed. We went on some great days out to Glastonbury and Wookey Hole, plus Tyntesfield. The area was very quiet, the road did not bother us at all and we had an excellent meal at the local pub the Litton, would highly recommend.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

What a beautiful home and location! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Host and owners on site was excellent, giving local recommendations and freedom to explore the amazing surroundings. House was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

Lizzy's place was wonderful. We were only there for a weekend and I would love to go back for a longer stay. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The property is also close to some very pretty villages and towns - highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Louise's lovely barn. It was spotless, exactly as photos showed and myself, my husband and our two children immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Louise was very helpful prior to and during our stay and has gone to a lot of effort to ensure the barn was well equipped, clean and homely with some nice touches such as cookies and tea and coffee facilities on arrival, plenty of household supplies as well as games, books, films and suggestions of things to do and places to go in the area. We really enjoyed a recommended walk to visit St Antony's Well but the best part was enjoying the warm, dry weather in the barn, the garden and its beautiful surroundings. We only wish we had stayed for longer! We are very much hoping to return. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

A wonderfully peaceful location with beautiful countryside views. The pictures really don’t reflect how big the property is - so much space! Very much appreciated the high chair, children’s cutlery and books/games. Very family friendly. Would recommend!

What a stunning home had absolutly everything and more than you needed very attentive hosts and what a lovely gesture of a welcome pack we came for a chilled break and that’s what we got we would love to can’t me back our dog loved it too

Die Unterlunft war kleiner als erwartet, aber dennoch makellos sauber, mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, wir haben darin super geschlafen. Alles da, was man in einer Küche so brauchen könnte… und mit kleinen Willkommensgeschenken… das hat uns sehr gefreut. Der Garten sieht zauberhaft aus. Trotz Hauptstraße ist es nicht zu laut. Sam und Adrian sind entzückend, sehr nett und immer gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. 100% Empfehlung. 👍🏻

„The old stable“‘ ist eine schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, gemütliche und geräumige Unterkunft mit einer großen Terrasse und einer großen Wiese. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und gepflegt. Die Bäder sind komfortabel, die Betten bequem. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Charming barn conversion right in the heart of Childrey. Tastefully furnished and well appointed. Mel was a very accommodating host; responding quickly to my questions and providing pro-active advice. And the extended check-out (subject to availability!) was particularly welcome.

We had such a lovely stay at the barn. The photos really don't do it justice, and I felt like we found a real steal. It was a great base for exploring Glastonbury and ham wall. The beds were comfortable and the house well equipped. We had a small issue with the WiFi and Michelle immediately responded to messages about it and sent someone over to look at it. We asked if we could check out half an hour later and Michelle kindly obliged. I really appreciated her flexibility and how seriously she takes hosting. We hope to stay again

We recently stayed at Emma’s Barn and honestly, it was one of the most relaxing and beautiful experiences we’ve had. The setting is absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a restful escape. The barn itself is immaculate and thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need. As a bit of fun, we decided to play our own version of “Four in a Bed”, determined to find even the smallest fault (especially after Emma confidently told us everything we needed would be there). But the joke was on us – we couldn’t find a single thing wrong! Everything was spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Emma herself was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. It’s rare to find somewhere that delivers on every promise, but this truly was a flawless experience. I cannot recommend Emma’s Barn highly enough. Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

Carol’s place is very comfortable and luxurious - just as described in the listing. It’s a perfect location within walking distance of all the amenities in the lovely village of Marshfield and close to Bath and Bristol. Highly recommended.

Valerie and Marcus were amazing hosts and made us very welcome. Their place is exquisite and clean & spotless with every amenity catered for. Lovely little touches, like delicious homemade cake and wine on our arrival. We felt at home straight away and we're so comfortable and relaxed we wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights! Location is perfect for exploring the beautiful county. Amazing views out of the windows of the farm animals too. Thank you to Marcus for his recommendations on local walks and eateries. It was a really beautiful place to stay. The kitchen is a thing of beauty. The character is striking wherever you look, with a lovely dining and sitting area. You need to be agile for the spiral staircase, but the ascent is worth the effort.
