Not too much of a walk to the beach, pier, promenade and town. House was as described

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

We had a great time at Luke's house. The king size beds were very comfortable. The host was friendly. The house facilities were very good. The park and ride into Cambridge was close by. The TV worked well and the furniture inside and outside was in very good condition.

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The house is enormous yet homely, beautifully appointed and with the most breathtaking views. The pool and spa are an added bonus and the path down to the beach / estuary is gorgeous. All in all an absolutely fabulous place and we will be back. Thank you xxx

The cottage is really lovely, peaceful and quiet. It is very comfortable and really clean, with good amenities. It is by the church which gives a lovely view, and is very close to the town centre with a good variety of good restaurants. I can especially recommend Meze Grill Turkish Restaurant - booking is recommended, certainly at weekends when we went. All in all, Hermione's cottage is a lovely place to stay, and recommended.

Had a fantastic stay. Location was perfect. House had everything we needed with loads of extras. The kids really appreciated the toys and books in particular. We’ll definitely look to stay again next time we’re visiting

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Good accommodation in a beautiful area, very quiet, perfect for a " getaway." Accommodation was very clean.

The apartment is exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean and was perfect for our needs. It was a bit tricky to find but worth the effort. Excellent, quiet location; being an easy walk to the beach.

The place was lovely and clean, well presented and really well equipped. Mark was really responsive and helpful. The location was fabulous, perfect access to the beach, the pier and all the shops.

We stayed for a whole week at Janine's studio around our Daughter's Wedding day. It was really lovely to have such a private and quiet base to come back to, after meeting during the days with lots of family members! The studio was exactly as described; it felt warm and inviting, was beautifully set out, and had all we needed to make some simple meals, store food in the fridge, for packed lunches etc. We loved the view into the fields and woods and we enjoyed watching deer several times in the early morning and evenings too! Janine was easy to contact and responded to our messages straight away. We would definitely recommend Janine's studio to other couples for a peaceful getaway place!

Teresa was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is small but Teresa has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Nice surprise to have a great continental breakfast. Also good to have a Miller and Carter restaurant opposite. Good wi-fi. Quiet. Would definitely recommend this studio flat. Location is good for access to Ipswich and A12/A14. Teresa is definitely a superhost.

Great location and parking for the airport. Warm and comfortable. Quiet and perfect to get a good rest before an early start. One of the best hosts ever at communication and went above and beyond to help out including booking a taxi when he couldn’t do the transfer and reducing the parking accordingly.

We had a great stay, the accommodation had everything you need and was very clean and warm, there was also some provisions left for breakfast. Set in a lovely location, we did not get to meet Viv but Richard was very nice and helpful. Will definitely go back, thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed at The Vinery for 3 nights, we enjoyed every minute of being there, its so peaceful beautiful garden, out door space. Helen has a little gem here. We will definitely visit again soon. The Vinery was so comfortable clean beautifully decorated, we didn’t want to leave. Felt so relaxed and the visits from Helens two small dogs was an added bonus. The Plough Pub was a great place to eat food was amazing. Helen was such a friendly host and the added touch of a bottle of bubbly with continental breakfast provided was such a wonderful treat. Thank you Helen we will definitely be returning

Sam’s place is at a fantastic location with everything within a short walk. The bed was probably the comfiest I have ever slept in. The place was spacious and stylish and had everything we needed. Would stay again and would recommend!

Great location for us visiting family nearby. Little peace of paradise. Tucked away overlooking a beautiful garden. Carole was a great host, cottage was very welcoming. Clean, warm and cosy. We only stayed one night sadly but could have easily stayed longer. Slept so well in the comfy bed. Would definitely book again.

Had a great stay at Katy’s space. Everything was clean, comfortable and matched the description and we enjoyed the goodies Katy stocked the kitchen with to get us going! Great location - very close to everything we needed. If I was ever in Walton or Essex again would be happy to stay again. Communicating with Katy was very easy and she was happy to help with any questions!

Our stay at Pond View was peaceful and relaxing. Access to the site was easy but secure. The accommodation was just right. And Christopher was a great host.

The apartment was beautiful with lovely high ceilings! It was clean and very well equipped. We came from Dorset and with the help of Google Maps it was very easy to find the accommodation. It was a very easy walk into the city centre and took us less than 10 minutes. The city was very clean and had absolutely everything you could want. We would definitely recommend the apartment as it was so nice and welcoming.

We had a wonderful long Easter weekend at this apartment, booked easily even though it was very last minute due to being let down by another owner. Thank you to Caroline for being so helpful and super responsive. The location is perfect to explore Felixstowe on foot and it’s handy having private off-road parking. We played mini-golf, ate out at some great spots, used the huge park down the road, went to the arcades on the pier and swam at the leisure centre just across the road. The space is beautiful, spacious, clean and we had everything that we needed, and more. Clear instructions and helpful information on the pre-arrival details too. Our daughters didn’t want to leave! We’d love to return again.

Fiona was extremely helpful when I checked in especially as I for some reason got a tad lost( I was the problem as it's easy to find) The property is an annex to a beautiful house in lovely grounds with a great field for the dog to have a run in. This is the cadilac of airbnb's, the annex has everything you could possibly need. it's immaculate, exactly as in the pictures, the bed is very comfortable and the shower room is excellent

Had the most wonderful stay here, our second visit. Joanne was extremely helpful and professional. Property is absolutely immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Has everything you could possibly need. Position is perfect, quiet, but close to shops, restaurants and beach. would highly recommend and Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful accommodation 🙂
