Ginger was very responsive and her Dad, Carson, whose house this apartment was in, made me feel very welcomed. Though part of the main home, the apartment was very private for it was an exterior wing and had a private entrance. Very nice apartment and just the right size to have everything available. This is about the nicest place I’ve stayed in and wish Ginger and her Dad much success in the future. Thank you

The Farm Stay studio was perfect! It was beautiful and bright and cozy, with gorgeous views of the farm and pond. The use of space was incredible with every amenity needed available. Great shower as well! Betty sent us so many ideas of places to see in the area and was a wonderful host! We hope to stay again when we return to the area.

The host was awesome! Always responsive had everything we needed totally stocked , very quiet peaceful place! Has an awesome garden! Came for ten days would up staying 45 . Couldn’t ask for a better time and place while in Halifax Virginia

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

First, hopefully annual going forward, girl's trip (mother, daughter and granddaughters) in the books! Jacob's lake house cottage served our needs perfectly. House was clean and view was spectacular. Sunroom was the perfect hang out! Only recommendation would be to have the outdoor furniture and amenities wiped down on a regular basis. We used the outdoor space as much, if not more, than the indoor space. Would definitely recommend and return on another visit.

we had a great time at Amy's. perfect location to stores, boat ramp etc. super clean and very relaxing place. a bunch of games for the kids and pool table for the adults. everyone in our group had a great time

Lydia was amazing very attentive and friendly ! The home was so cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and my son loved the tire swing! Would definitely recommend this beautiful home for anyone looking for a comfortable experience! Thank you so much again!

We needed a peaceful get-away for the few days that both my daughters and my wife had time off from school, and Susan's place fit the bill perfectly! The home is cozy, warm and inviting - upon entering it for the first time my 19 yo daughter exclaimed "I love this place" so I knew I did something right by renting it. Everything was advertised from amenities to the peacefulness of the surroundings. We had no interest in going anywhere so we brought everything with us and that worked out great, which would be my advice! Thank you again Susan for hosting us for a perfect weekend in your lovely cabin we can't wait to get there again soon!
