Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

Brilliant little home, clean & really comfy beds. Was a perfect location for us to attend a friend’s wedding less than 10 minutes down the road. Even the little touches of a biscuit/jam basket and a little bottle of milk so we could have a coffee as soon as we checked in. Amazing. Thanks so much Joanne, perfect get away for us.

What a fantastic place! Ged and Elka are incredibly thoughtful and kind hosts. We felt at home immediately. Everything is very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well set up for cooking whatever you might like. They even keep the knives sharp! Beautiful walks from the front door. The beds are comfortable and it’s very dog friendly. They provided a blanket, dog towel, and bowls. They even had a welcome pack for us and our dog. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would!

A beautiful, quirky cottage that was ideally suited. Very close to Newmillerdam and its restaurants and pubs. More suited to shorter guests below 5 foot 8 as the door frames, mirrors and shower are all pretty low. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Had a lovely long weekend in Clawdd Offa Farm. Photos of the property were plentiful and accurate and communication with Ben was easy. The house itself is comfortable and well kitted out with some lovely touches. The tranquil location and the hot tub really made our college reunion trip special. And there was a fab little welcome basket on arrival. Definitely recommend!

It’s a wonderful experience staying here. It has best towels I have ever experienced, comparable to the top quality hotels. The e bedrooms suits us very well. We also spend a lot of time in the kitchen and dining area, eating and working. I also give high remarks on the interior finishes style. And many others, including some tasty biscuits prepared for us.

My stay at Foxt Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with rolling hills and lush greenery providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. For our little one, the activities were a hit—plenty of outdoor fun to keep them entertained while we soaked in the peaceful vibe. The hosts were warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with stunning landscapes and family-friendly amenities, Foxt Cottages is a must-visit! We’re already planning our next stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in Lytham, using it as a base for a dance competition. The house is beautiful, full of thoughtful touches and attention to detail. The area itself is just as charming and we only wish we had stayed longer! Mark was a fantastic host—great communication and full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend this little gem. Safe to say, we’ll definitely be returning.

Simon's flat is beautiful, clean and well kept! The surrounding area is idyllic. It was perfect for our stay within easy reach to Lark Lane and lovely park walks on the doorstep. The perfect accommodation for our group trip to Lancaster - had everything a group needs for a short stay and more. Ray and Sue were amazing hosts, extremely accommodating and helpful. Plenty of parking, well stocked kitchen, would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Excellent Airbnb with everything as described and to a high standard. Friendly hosts who provide a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. The location is peaceful and close to the waterways and beautiful views and sunsets. Good choice of eateries close by. Highly recommended.

I was delighted to stay in this Airbnb. I felt instantly at home, it was warm, cosy, v comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again. It was just down the street from the train station, and the local shops of Waterloo

Beautiful cottage next to Lake Bala and lovely hosts. Nice village 10 mins walk away and a reasonable drive to bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Only disappointment—adjacent to quite a busy road.

Beautiful little cottage - perfect place to stay for an adventure in the Peak District! Also great for dogs with baby gates installed to keep them downstairs, it’s lovely to have these things already in place!

If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

This is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. John was very accommodating regarding our late arrival and the cottage was easy to find and exactly as described. The cottage is very characterful and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful and very private. Thank you John, we’ve had a wonderful stay.

Stayed for 2 nights. Had an amazing time sat by the lake in the sun was unbelievable. Would defo stay again. Loved it.

We had a lovely stay at Samantha’s place which is perfectly located with amazing views and walks directly from the front door. We didn’t use our car for the entire time that we were there. We had a very warm welcome, the home was beautifully clean and Samantha has thought of everything we could possibly have needed during our stay (and then some). Communication with Samantha was great and her recommendations meant that we didn’t need to forward plan at all. The area is wonderfully quiet and private, we would definitely love to stay here again.

A peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful scenery and plenty of walks near by which was perfect for us. Bala is just a few minutes drive away which has all the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay. We took our fairly reactive dog with us and she settled in right away and slept soundly through the night. We cooked a roast on the first night and the kitchen was well equipped for this 🙂 Wifi was good in the lounge and we loved the DVD collection! The bedroom was downstairs and the bathroom upstairs, but this didnt bother us at all! Just something to bare in mind for those who aren't as abled. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a break from the hustle and bustle and for those who love walking/water activities 😁

We would 100% recommend staying here. It was so beautiful and relaxing and we will absolutely want to come back again in the future. The place was gorgeous, views were beautiful, the pub ‘The Fenwick’ was lovely we walked to and from. Loved the chickens who stayed right by our side the whole stay! Just amazing. Thank you for an incredible break!
