Historical farmer's house in nature Kāŗkliņi

Kārkliņi was built in 1892 Kārkliņi were wealthy farmers who owned a horse stable, as well as cows, pigs and other animals as they were an integral part of the farm at the time! In 1979 the house was bought from Kārkliņi by my grandmother Zigrīda Stungure who was once a brilliant actress at the Daile Theater, She and her husband Jānis used the house as a summer's residence In 2013 I took over Kārkliņi. For the past 10 years, I have returned the house to its original form as it was in 1920

The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. Cozy holiday house LIELMEŽI located in quiet nature 60km from Riga. Great place to enjoy silence and nature far away from city noises. House has two levels. On the ground floor there is cosy living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a small hall with a balcony and toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed. Or alternatively - a double bed in each bedroom can be transformed into 2 single beds.

A beautiful natural vacation home with sauna by the lake. Perfect for eight people. Owners live in the other house nearby (can be seen in pictures). Whole vacation home is at guests disposal. On the property is volley ball, basketball, beach and plenty of green space. There is also a possibility to rent a boat and go around the lake. The lake is located about 90 m from the house in direct line. Private beach is about 150 m form the house across the road.
