Jolly Nose Hill is known locally for extensive walking and bike tracks. Rainbow Beach hosts regular surfing competitions. The Beach Hotel, 5 mins away, has a good menu and live music at weekends and the Nursery serves yummy breakfasts, both with fun play areas. Up the road in Port Macquarie, you’ll find shops, cafes and restaurants, Glasshouse Theatre, cinema, lighthouse, museums, Koala Hospital.. A little further up the road, but not much, is Stoney Park, an aqua park for both young and old.

Wylah Place - ‘The Burrow’

‘Wylah Place’ is a one acre property located halfway between Port Macquarie and Taree and is just 5 mins drive off the Pacific Highway (M1). It is a great place for an overnight pit stop or as a base to explore all the Midcoast has to offer. The property sits at the foot of South Brother, looks out onto Middle brother and is surrounded by cattle farms. It is very scenic and relaxing, while still being close by to activities and plenty of places to explore.

Welcome to Little Palm Cabins in Lake Cathie - 14 various sized cabins located in our beautiful seaside village and just 15 minutes to Port Macquarie. Accommodating solo travellers or large groups, each cabin has its own patio and outdoor seating with access to the shared laundry facilities.
