We have stayed in a few places on the NC 500 route and this is one of the best. It was so good to have your own lounge and full size TV. The shower was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable and the views are amazing. The host was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good as well and we were made to feel really welcome. The gravel drive was not really motorcycle friendly so we parked just outside on concrete hard standing and this was not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Wij hebben hier overnacht als tussenstop op onze reis naar Isle of Skye. Prachtig verblijf. Alles is er aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Super fijne bedden, een bad en lekker ontbijtsnacks. Ideaal dus voor ons als gezin. Verder prima communicatie! Zeker waard dus om een keer te gaan logeren.

Anne was so welcoming, we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The view from the lounge was picture perfect, we could have stared at the view the whole time we were there. The twin rooms was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was super. If we ever go back to that area of the country we would not hesitate to book again. Anne is a fantastic host.

A perfect location to explore the Loch Ness area. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with lovely details that make it feel warm and welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend it to others.

Mark greeted me with a smile and showed me around. Having my own sitting room with TV, tea/coffee and small communal fridge to help myself and store my food. My quaint bed room was very large & bed comfortable. My own bathroom had a large bath and individually heated. Anne's dedication to ensuring her visitors have a positive experience was very much appreciated. I felt like I was at home. 35 yrs in the Air BnB industry is a testament to their passion. I wish them all the best .💓

Ethna was a most amazing host, friendly without intruding but with lots of helpful information. Homemade goodies for afternoon tea and breakfast, the jams and marmalades were amazing also the biscuits, breads and everything else. Beautiful location, would have happily watched the sheep, lambs and chickens for hours from the comfort of the dining room in front of the wood fire. Comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Peaceful and rural. We loved it.

A gem of a B&B set in the most amazing surroundings. Going off the beaten track was worth it. Maggie is super friendly and helpful. The bedroom was had beautiful decor, the beds were comfortable and the linen good quality. The bathroom was clean and spacious with an excellent shower. It’s the little touches that make a stay special, the fresh fruit and milk for breakfast, an abundance of pastries and other snacks. To top it off when I was in the bath enjoying the view there was a piped playing that I could hear through the window. Totally magical

I had a wonderful stay at Ornum Cottage, a charming bed and breakfast near Beauly and close to Inverness. The peaceful and scenic surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal for exploring both the countryside and the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a delicious breakfast that added a special touch to the stay. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful information, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Ornum Cottage for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to Inverness.

The location was truly beautiful and easy to access with our vehicle. We enjoyed the privacy of the room and the delicious breakfast in the morning. Recommended for a relaxing stay near Oban!

Je suis entièrement reconnaissante que John ait été ma première et véritable expérience pour le bed and breakfast !! Le logement est cosy et se trouve facilement (un parking public à moins de 5-10 min est disponible pour se garer facilement). On habite directement chez l'hôte, c'est vivant avec pleins de souvenirs. Le lit est confortable. John a été très gentil et souriant. Les discussions étaient intéressantes ! Le petit déjeuner fait maison était copieux et délicieux. John m'a aidé à optimiser mon voyage et m'a filée pleins de recommendations de whiskys. Merci infiniment, vous avez rendu mon séjour magique. :)

Le séjour auprès d’Eléonore et de Grant a été un vrai cadeau! Leur maison est juste magnifique, d’un grand confort, un intérieur d’une grande propreté, une décoration très soigné et on s’y sens pleinement accueilli. La nature est très présente, ce qui est pleinement ressourçant. En quelques minutes, vous êtes à Inverness. Le lieu est idéal pour découvrir également black isle, les Fairy Glen, les clanvas, culloden battefiel (lieu de recueil)…Eleonore est adorable et elle a pris le temps de nous conseiller sur tous nos déplacements et lieux à visiter. Un vrai bonheur! Le petit déjeuner est fait de surprises (je vous invite à les découvrir lors de votre visite 😉), il est très copieux! Eleonore nous a fait découvrir des petites traditions culinaires chaque matin ! Nous aurons plaisir à revenir en leur demeure et surtout, nous aurons plaisir à les revoir! Lovely place to end the West Highland Way!

Lovely accommodation & comfortable surroundings! Very quiet area, we used this as a base for climbing Ben Nevis which wasn’t far for us to travel to. Very clean.

Angela ist eine sehr sympathische und warmherzige Gastgeberin, wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei ihr. Der Check-in war unkompliziert, das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Am besten waren aber unsere leckeren Frühstücke und die netten Unterhaltungen mit Angela. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Lovely location in the middle of the eco-village with easy access to the woods and a gentle walk to the pubs of Findhorn. The communal lounge is great so you're not just stuck in a room, and the help-your-self breakfast is a relaxed affair.

Susan and Derry are legends! If we could give them and their beautiful mountain view home 10 stars, we would! Their warmth and grace went above and beyond even the best Scottish hospitality, which says a lot. The homemade Scottish breakfasts were to die for. The room and the bed especially were so comfortable and truly every detail was considered in making our stay perfect. We cant wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay with Morag, we felt very welcome straight away and really enjoyed the beautiful homemade granola, bread and shortbread! There were some lovely walks straight from the house and we made the most of the lovely weather we had by exploring as much as possible! It's an amazing location for wildlife and we loved how our stay was contributing to bird of prey charities. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who loves wildlife.

Joyce et Allan proposent des logements dans leur maison, posée en haut d'une jolie colline. Tout y est incroyable, la vue, la quiétude des lieux, leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur prévenance, le confort de la chambre, le petit-déjeuner et leurs animaux. Petit détail à l'attention des voyageurs qui viendraient sans voiture, prévoir 20 minutes à pied depuis la station de bus. Merci beaucoup pour avoir contribué à rendre ce séjour dans les Highlands inoubliable.

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.
