Nestled in the wilderness of the Quantock Hills AONB, this beautiful lodge is a perfect country retreat. Ideal for couples, families, walkers, trail runners, cyclists, bird watchers and nature lovers. Fully renovated, with a large hot tub, underfloor heating, comfortable furniture, a coffee machine and a wood burner for cosy winter nights. Dogs welcome, lockable shed for bicycles. Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

The Annex @ Brook Garden Lodge Is Available for Single Night and Short Term Rent. The Annex is located at back of the garden with private access, private entrance door and free parking. If you are looking for a larger room, we also have the Suite@Brook Garden Lodge adjacent to the Annex with a few added extras, but due to Airbnb Algorithm appears down the list when searching for places in Barry. Due to the rooms being in same location, you won’t be aware unless you zoom in on the annex price.

Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.
