We had a really lovely stay and apart from an initial misunderstanding which was quickly and easily resolved, our stay was perfect. It was lovely to dump our cases so that we could enjoy Bath, it was great to have a slightly later check-out of 11 and it was lovely to dump our cases to enjoy lunch without trundling them around Bath. The house was perfect for our needs!

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

We’ve just returned from 2 nights here and we’re very sad to be leaving! The pod has everything you need for a comfortable stay and has clearly been well thought out. The spot is very private and incredibly peaceful. The huge secure garden / field was absolutely perfect for our dog - she loved it. Lots of lovely footpaths nearby to explore too. Can’t wait to return!

A beautifully set up and self contained apartment. Lovely gardens and easy access to the countryside and the city. Being in a cul-de-sac and near the top of the hill also meant it was beautifully quiet and relaxing. The bus service to and from the city was excellent for evenings out and about. Great information pack to get up to speed on the local area and facilities. Cosy living room and great kitchen set up. The hot tub was a bonus to relax after the days spent walking the dog and exploring the area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Kate and Andrew were great hosts and super helpful to make our stay easy and stress free. Definitely recommend it!

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

We were looking for a secluded stay surrounded by nature and we certainly got it! The apartment is cosy, well decorated and spotless. The hamper and hot tub were well worth the extra cost. The hamper was great for breakfast, especially as there isn't a grocery shop nearby. The wood fired hot tub was a special addition and it's secluded meaning ultimate privacy. The views were breathtaking and the host's were attentive and communicative. Just be wary that the road leading to the apartment is narrow and challenging if you are not used to driving in the deep countryside. We thought it was great value for money and would stay here again!

Absolutely brilliant place. Nicola was a fantastic host. Breakfast was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone ! And the hot tub was a brilliant facility to have :) Would 100% stay again !!!

Lovely little house about a 15 mins walk away from beachfront. Nice touches put on by host with fresh breakfast items available along with all the condiments should you wish to eat in. Bed really comfortable, clean and the hot tub was used regularly. Didn't need to contact host as everything was so well explained although Joy did state we could check out later if we needed. Great place to explore and would definitely use again of in the area. Many thanks

The accommodation was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely view over the park across the road. This was an ideal location with parking nearby and easy access to local facilities and the city centre by bus or on foot.

The house was amazing, lovely and very clean. We had a warm and cozy stay, enjoyed the milk, and spent all night freely. Angela had given me detailed information before I arrived. Everything was greatly settled down. I really love this experience.

What a fabulous stay! The entire house and private garden, friendly neighborhood location , and proximity to so much Bristol has to offer was perfect for us. The house was spacious with good facilities,plenty of designer touches, and became a real "Home" for our too short 3 week stay. I would highly recommend this truly bohemian and lovey oasis. Everything we wanted was either steps away, a manageable walk or an inexpensive taxi ride away. There was even a great art-walk weekend in St Wherburgs one of the weekends of our stay. Don't miss the Duke of York Pub (a great example of ye old local pub for friends and family) , the Cauldron Restaurant (unique dining). the Neopolitan (open early for coffee and the best baklava-pizzas and bkfst lunch and dinner choices) and Biblos for a real back to the @70s coffee house experience -all just minutes away! A truly great convenience store&post office,the Community Center, and the Good Food Organic Market& restaurant with a terrific art supply center above were also frequently visited. 20 minutes walk to Cabbot Circus Retail Shopping or Tesco if you must in the other direction. You will feel as lucky as we did with this booking! Sue and Marc will go out of there way to take care of you with good memories of Bristol and your great stay to keep forever (priceless).

Quiet terraced house that feels very homely the moment you walk in the door

I spent a week at their place with my family as my house was being refurbished. We absolutely loved staying in this house. So spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Communication with James and Shelley was excellent and the lodger was very nice. We felt very welcome. Their garden is fabulous with lots of nice surprises. My daughter was also delighted. I would definitely recommend.

Sally’s place was exactly as described. The back bedroom and workspace are larger than they appear on the photos. The parking space - gold dust in this bustling neighbourhood! - was a real boon and our VW Golf slotted in the drive nicely. Sally & Paul quietly ensured our week’s stay following the birth of our first grandson was problem free. We were able to both make frequent visits to our daughter close by and visit the vibrant Clifton cafés and shops. The parking space meant we could make longer trips out and about as well. Many thanks Sally, we look forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

Our only difficulty was finding our way into the property in the dark (we arrived 9ish) because we had missed their note with directions. Not their fault.

We had a great short break and the house was perfect and matched all of the pictures and descriptions. The hot tub was brilliant and the proactive emails, instructions and support from Rob were first class. Would definitely recommend.

This place covers all the bases for a great stay for a big family get together! Excellent communications, nice welcome and then all the things to keep three families from ages 3-16 entertained. Private pool great, Games Room great, Hot Tub was spot on and actually hot (unlike so many that aren't)! Sauna probably needs some renovation love. Bedrooms great, enough space. Devonshire Arms nice food, Halfway House nice beer and vibes. All the ingredients for a place to kick back and have some much needed family time. Highly recommend!

Lovely property well equipped and looked after. Great walks good facilities, friendly and responsive hosts. Would thoroughly recommend it for anyone hosting an extensive family gathering.

We had a such enjoyable stay at Spinney Falls house. The house is beautiful and in a great location with a gorgeous view from upstairs balcony and bedrooms. The open plan layout is great and the pool table was a hit. The house is situated close to the pool and the football field wasn’t far away either. We had children ranging from 18 months old to 13 years old and everyone had a fabulous weekend. We’d definitely return. Many thanks!

Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again
