We loved staying at Sanddollar Cottage in the Bahamas; it exceeded all our expectations. Terren picked us up at the airport as soon as we arrived and took us to our cottage, which was very charming and cozy, with plenty of natural light and surrounded by turquoise views. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need, perfect for preparing meals to enjoy on the deck overlooking the beach. Ida and Terren also rented us a boat and a golf kart; we rented the boat for two days, and one day, we had Terren as our guide, who took us to see the iguanas, swim with the nurse sharks at Compass Cay, Rachel's Bubble Bath, snorkeling at Thunderball grotto (great experience) and snorkeling at a plane wreck. At the end of the tour, we stopped at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club for a tasty lunch. Ida and Terren were great hosts, very responsive and friendly; the boat and golf kart worked perfectly, we loved everything, and we are going to come back! Thank you, Ida and Terren!

My stay at Ida's place was absolutely wonderful! The location was fantastic, close to all the local attractions and amenities. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well-decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. Ida was an exceptional host, always responsive and helpful with any questions I had. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, providing thoughtful touches like local tips and recommendations. In addition, the tour hosted by her son, Terren, was marvelous. Very informative & fun! I highly recommend staying at Ida's place if you're looking for a delightful and hassle-free experience. I will definitely be returning! God bless.

Amazing experience! Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Walking distance to almost everything on island and if you need a ride everyone was very accommodating. If you want an authentic Bahamian island experience this is the place! We would love to come back because of our experience.

This was the most amazing stay!! The host was incredible with communication, as well as helpful with planning other elements of our trip. The property is beautiful and offers everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. A gorgeous beach is right outside the front door, and our host was even kind enough to provide us with bikes to more easily get around the island. The entire island was so warm and welcoming, stunning sunsets, and lots of marine life right outside your front door. I could not recommend this location more. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Don and Sophia’s! Don and Sophia are the very best of hosts! The home was nicely laid out with a lovely view from the back deck that made you want to never get up and go anywhere else. The adjoining beach was just beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities that Don and Sophia had obviously thought about. They put hospitality perks and charm into the home. When we had any needs they were quick to respond and always so gracious in their response. We will certainly call them first when we contemplate going back for another vacation on Staniel Cay.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Ulrisa und ihrer Familie gefühlt. Wir haben tolle Empfehlung bekommen und jederzeit konnten wir Ulrisa um etwas bitten, wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten. Absolut perfekt. Wir haben uns über Ulrisa ein Boot und ein Golfcar ausgeliehen und alle war prima. Der Bootsausflug mit ihrem Sohn war einfach wunderbar. Das Haus ist toll (vor allem die Betten sind sehr bequem), der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist noch besser, absolut zu empfehlen! Die Küche könnte etwas mehr Ausstattung (Teller und Töpfe) vertragen. Wir konnten uns aber ein großen Topf ausleihen 😊 eine Geschirrspülmaschine wäre toll. Aber es ging auch ohne. Alles in Allem ein absolut gelungener Aufenthalt, mit tollen Vermietern, einer sehr schönen Umgebung und umwerfend tollen Farben und Naturereignissen (Schildkröten, Rochen, bunte Fische, Katzen, Hunde, tolle Sonnenuntergänge) Herzlichen Dank und hoffentlich bis zum nächsten mal :-)

House was very nice, clean with great location. Accurate listing

The house was as advertised with two queen beds and two singles. Kitchen was well stocked. Henry was helpful to find us a boat rental, which we really enjoyed. However, his golf cart that he promised broke down the day before our arrival. He was able to arrange for a car instead, but it was substantially more expensive and overkill for island transportation. He did not agree to pay the difference in cost. I would definitely come back, but be cautious about any sort of extraneous agreements.
