The Old Piggery, at the White Cottage, is a rural oasis in the heart of Northumberland. It is a recently refurbished detached dwelling offering a unique opportunity to escape the hurly burly of life. Located in Warenton, a small hamlet, nestled conveniently between the Cheviot Hills to the west and the coast to the east. With uninterrupted views of Holy Island (Lindisfarne) in the distance and only 10 minutes drive from Bamburgh. It provides the luxury and sanctuary for the perfect escape.

One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

This large 20ft x 40ft lodge (the size of two caravans) is on the lake-front and has a huge south-facing wraparound decking which is the biggest on park.
