Beautiful home with incredible garden full of fun for kids

We had a beautiful stay for our minimoon straight after our wedding. We wanted somewhere peaceful, quiet and romantic to recoup from the wedding madness and Wills Barn was perfect! We wanted to stay in and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our time in the barn. The decor was fantastic and the vinyl player was an added bonus for us! It was great being able to let the dog roam free in the garden without worrying about her being able to get out. The only negative we had is that we had to leave! Thank you, we’ll be back!

Very lovely place! Cozy fireplace and extremely comfortable beds. Very easy to walk into town. The home was incredibly clean but do just be mindful if you have pet allergies as a dog does stay from time to time. We really appreciated the lovely little touches that made us feel right at home. We'd come again in a heartbeat.

The Englishcombe stay was incredible! Large, beautiful, fun, and well-stocked home. Great care taken in every room to make the house cosy and comfortable. And the views - unreal! The space inside and out was so inviting. Host gave lots of recommendations for getting around, walks, and restaurants. The home is a couple miles outside of Bath city center, so we had a car, which was helpful. Spectacular stay!

We had a wonderful weekend. The bungalow was beautiful spacious immaculately clean and with lots of little added extras including a log fire already made up in the living room, bottle of prosecco in the fridge !! Very well equipped with everything we needed plus parking for 4 cars which in Bath is very handy. A little tricky to find but had good instructions from Andy and Anna

Had a great, relaxing stay. Carries home is beautiful and absolutely loved the garden 🪴. The garden is the best spot to sit in when the sun is out. Didn’t leave the house much as it was just nice to relax in such a great space. The little details around the house gave the space a nice touch. Everything you needed was there, would definitely return. Visited the lazy lobster restaurant in chew Magna (having dined there is previous years) which is great if you’re into seafood.

My partner has an excellent stay here for work, the owners even moved him to a secondary location as this was booked for this week. Great communication, lovely home.

Had such a great stay at Carole's place. She was an incredibly friendly and helpful host, who even gave us a whistle-stop tour of the surrounding area and dropped us off at a lovely pub. The property was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed playing the board games provided and really appreciated the beautiful fresh flowers provided. Thanks so much

The flat is located in a nice and central neighbourhood near local restaurants and shops. It is always at walking distance to the suspension bridge and observatory. The flat is nicely decorated and functional. We also appreciated to receive a parking permit.

Lovely place to stay, a 10 minutes drive down a small lane and you're surrounded by fields, beautiful sunrises. Very peaceful, never heard cars at night and rarely in the day. Cozy writing desk to get some work done. Philippa brought homemade cake and some good, such a nice gesture, makes you feel very welcome.

Love this place. So friendly, super clean, pub has great food and drinks and friendly locals. Easy check in and out. Great vibes, great art. Nearby shop.

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

We were 4 people and the place was very nice and beautiful. We checked in late evening but Paul welcomed us warmly and showed the place.He was very nice! My kids liked the outdoor toys which gave us some time to ourselves. The communication was great. Nice, clean and kids room was cute! We also enjoyed bbq and the stay.Thank you Paul.

Great stay in a beautiful location with many amenities included in the room. Peaceful and basic, but everything you would need. We would only recommend something to deter the Wasps as the room is located near to the Oak tree but this would be the only minor thing!

WOW.....Outlook Lodge has got to be one of the best UK holidays we've been to: * the photos don't do it justice in the layout, quality of furniture/beds/bedding. The attention to detail is amazing. *the view from the Lodge is just spectacular, breath taking. *Debbie is an extremely friendly, approachable person, nothings to much trouble. Her pre-arrival info is awesome. Lots of recommendations ref pubs for dining, places to go, dog walks, cycle tracks. *Hot tub is lovely & hot, watching the stars over the Mendips is fabulous. *The Lodge has all mod cons. Streaming TV, full WiFi, beds are just so comfy, central heating makes the Lodge snug & warm, full range of kitchen utensils (if you want to cook). *Can't not mention the gorgeous small herd of Alpacas, who are sometimes in the field next to Lodge, they will come and say hi to you 😍 If you want a relaxing tranquil quiet/peaceful break then we can't recommend Debbie's place enough. We will definitely be back very soon 😘 🤩👍xxx

Nice little gem, out in the mendip hills. Lovely views, peaceful and great location for visiting bath and bristol. Highly reccomend!

Myself and my boyfriend had a brilliant time staying in the Swan Pod. We had only booked for 3 nights but I definitely didn’t want to go home. It was easy to find and even easier to check in which is what I was hoping for. The lake is beautiful and the animals were just a bonus, I would definitely recommend if you want a nice, peaceful getaway for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay at Ashlea Lakeside Resort! The Kingfisher Pod was beautifully designed with high-spec finishes, and the whole setting was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was spotless and clearly put together with care and attention to detail. We especially loved the hot tub – such a perfect way to unwind. We’ve already shared the details with friends. Such a lush place! 🤩

Wonderful stay. Sam was very responsive and accommodating. Cabin was warm and cosy with lots to do locally. We were a bit apprehensive about the outdoor shower in the final week of October, but it was a great experience! Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Ruby’s Retreat and were very grateful that we were moved to one of the huts overlooking beautiful views! The hut contained everything you need for your stay - it was spotlessly clean & cosy with a comfortable bed. There was an amazing variety of wildlife - birds, hawks & foxes! We very much enjoyed the display of pipistrelle bats against the sky at dusk, and a spot of star gazing from the hut tub! Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew & he even found us a replacement TV remote when we realised our one had gone missing! We highly recommend a stay at Ruby’s Retreat, for anyone needing to switch off, unwind and reconnect with nature!
