A quiet place to stay with stunning mountain views

A lovely place to stay in Kaikōura with mountain views, all day sun and a private deck. Not even a 5 minute drive to town center. It is the 3rd house down a private lane, parking right by the house. Large open plan living area and good sized bedrooms. West boundary is a peaceful creek (be aware of this if you have children). A great heat pump and additional big log burner will keep you warm during the winter months with a heat distribution system to keep you warm in the bedrooms. No WiFi sorry!

Woodbank Schoolhouse, Clarence, Kaikoura Coast

This cottage is the original School House alongside the now retired Woodbank School at Clarence. Situated in the beautiful Clarence Valley 30 minutes north up the Kaikoura coast . Great walks, Biking, mountain bike Park at Middle Hill, Raft the Clarence River, fish at the river mouth, swim or surf on the coast, 20 minutes to The Store at Kekerengu, or the numerous cafes in Kaikoura. View the seals at colony 10 minutes down the coast...Or you can sit back and read a book and listen to the birds.

Coco's Cabin

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Coco's Cabin is a small home on the Kaikoura Peninsula with amazing sea views. Watch the moon rise over the water from the comfort of the couch. And get ready for truly spectacular sunrises. If you're lucky you might even spot a humpback whale/ dolphins. A swimming beach is a short walk away, and you can drive to the town centre in 5 minutes. There is a small bedroom with a double bed/ensuite and a loft with an Ecosa sofa bed. There's no tv.

Outdoor areas provide a haven for relaxation and the opportunity of sitting under a canopy of an aged wisteria vine whilst listening to the abundant bird-life, BBQing a delightful meal, or simply taking in the solitude and the breathtakingly refreshing mountain air.

Hares hut Farm stay Dog and horse friendly

Just fifteen minutes south of Blenheim, Hares hut is a charming cottage set on 50 acres of river flat, terraces and hill. Cosy up next to the wood fire, relax on the verandah or explore the many tracks along the Taylor river and the hill. With vineyards, mountain bike tracks and the Marlborough Sounds nearby, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy our beautiful region. The cottage garden provides herbs for your use in the well equipped kitchen. We welcome dogs and can provide a horse paddock.

Shore Break

Centrally located on the beautiful Kaikoura Esplanade with the beach and stunning mountain views at the end of the driveway. Just a short walk in either direction along the new beach path takes you either to the Pier Hotel, or past Hiku Restaurant and Encounter Kaikoura Cafe if walking towards the town centre which is approx 15 minutes away. Easy walk to the playground. The Cottage is small but cosy with everything you need, recently renovated, a secluded place to relax and enjoy Kaikoura.

Black Mountain is nestled in the foothills of the Kaikōura Seaward Ranges, 6 km north of Kaikōura township. Designed for short and longer stays, the home is private, peaceful, and set in a beautiful rural landscape. It's a perfect base to explore both regions. The ferry in Picton is approximately 1h10min away. Watch the sunrise over the Pacific, take a stroll down to the beach to visit the seal colony or simply enjoy the serenity this private cottage has to offer with a book in hand.

Just a quick 10 minute drive North of Kaikōura Town Ship. Enjoy Nature, peace and quiet , listen to the songs of the native birds that feed off the native plants. Visit the resident goats, sheep and cow that greet you at the gate. Cleaning included in rate.
