Wir waren sehr glücklich mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Sunaina. Sie und ihre Familie sind herzliche Gastgebende. Sunaina hat uns Tipps für An- und Abreise gegeben, die unsere Pläne ergänzt haben. Sie hat uns außerdem spontan eine tolle Canoe-Tour mit Vishnu zum Sonnenaufgang organisiert. Wir würden die Canou-Tour zum Sonnenaufgang allen empfehlen. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und am Abend mit vielen Lichterketten beleuchtet. Man kann direkt am Fluss entspannen. Das Essen ist lecker! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Munroe Island zu euch:)

A great place to stay in Varkala given that he is walking distance away from some very good cafes on South Cliff( Trip is life and Sarwaa). A place nestled on the quiet side of Varkala so if you are someone looking for a great stay away from the now commercial north cliff, this is a great choice. Thanks Nikhil!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The setting was incredibly peaceful and picturesque—surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Every morning felt like a breath of fresh air, and the views were simply stunning. An infinity pool in the middle of the jungle made was exceptional. A special thank you to our host, Pirrko who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Chandran and Usha were the caretakers who made sure we had a peaceful stay. Altogether, their warm hospitality made the entire experience even more memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and I’d love to return in the future!

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

My sister and I plus my nephew had a very special stay at Shaun’s home stay. Everything worked like clock work The support we got from Shaun throughout our visit was exceptional. Thank you. Although Nelli Tree is not right on the beach, the beach was just a 30 min walk or just an auto taxi trip away. We all had a fabulous time having some wonderful meals at restaurants suggested by Shaun, some relaxing massages and even some surfing lessons. The AC worked well in the room which was a real blessing as it was very hot. The complimentary breakfasts were simple but freshly cooked and tasty. Thank you Shaun and his wonderful team for an unforgettable vacation

A peaceful place with a beautiful garden and terrace. Ideal for families with kids. We had a cab with us so we didn’t face any trouble commuting to Varkala Cliff. Autos are also easily available. Host was also very responsive and the care taker was friendly and kept the place clean.

One of the most peaceful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had. Live Under the Sky in Varkala truly felt like a hidden gem, everything about this place was aesthetic and calming. The pool was so serene, perfect for slow mornings and quiet evenings. The kitchen and washrooms were beautifully maintained, super clean, and thoughtfully designed, adding so much comfort to the whole experience. What made it extra special were the peacocks, yes, actual peacocks that visited us almost every morning and evening. Their calls, along with the soft rustling of trees and birdsong, made it feel like nature was wrapping us in peace. We also loved the food at Café Trip is Life, every dish we tried was delicious and felt like a warm hug. Sitting there, eating great food while being surrounded by that kind of beauty, was something else. Big thanks to Deepak for being such a kind and welcoming host, and to Akshay for helping us with everything we needed. They made our stay smooth and so memorable. ❤️

Notre séjour a été formidable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Renjith, à l’aéroport de Trivandrum. Le manager Stanly a été parfait du début à la fin, c’est quelqu’un sur qui on peut compter. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. La maison était très propre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

We stopped hear on our way to the coast from the national park and it was a perfect stopover. Nestled in the nature with friendly neighbours and a super friendly host who even brought our kids (6 and 8) ice cream. A short 3 wheeler drive away were a few places to eat. Very well designed building and brilliant host. Would highly recommend .
