Great place to stay and walkable location.

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

Had a lovely one week stay at the loft. The big bright windows made it an exceptional spot to work from. Overall decor was top notch and bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed the perk of having a cafe located downstairs. Building is incredibly well maintained and quiet. Would highly recommend and will return!

The location was within walking distance of all amenities and the apartment was absolutely prisitine and top notch. From the start, I was provided comprehensive and clear instructions on how to check in. Upon arrival, they provided a rundown of all the nearby conveniences and places to eat. Everything was well stocked and we were even provided with snacks and refreshments, truly above and beyond. I needed some help finding a place to board my dog and they were more than happy to help. Highly recommend staying here if you are travelling to Stratford!

Was in town for the festival for three days, and was looking for something fairly last minute when this apartment opened up. Place was well kept, easy to get to, and in a great location within walking distance to many of the theaters and center of town. Jordan was responsive and easy to talk to. Would consider coming back in the future. Hopefully it won’t rain so much next time!

We would highly recommend staying at Sally's place. The place was immaculate with all sorts of super treats and provisions in the fridge. It was a great place for meeting other guests in the relaxing common area outside. The location is perfect..it is possible to walk to all the theaters and downtown. even if you have gammy knees like we do!

Carly was a fantastic host. Very proactive and left lovely complimentary snacks and things in the fridge that really came in handy! I would definitely stay here again! Absolutely beautiful space and within walking distance but still quite private.

Merle's place was absolutely pet friendly! we loved the backyard, the patio area was beautiful.. it was indeed a good time, bbq'd and relaxed the whole long weekend! big backyard space for the little ones to play in and for the fur babies (separate areas too) It was clean, everything that we needed (and forgot to bring) we found at her place! I loved that the cleaning stuff were available for the guests to utilize. Vacationing with toddlers can get really messy, that's when proper cleaning supplies come in handy! It was a short walk to Victoria Park (with splash pad), short walk to little downtown (happened that there was a fair on the weekend of our stay! was a bonus). Also, we just walked down the beach, enjoyed the peaceful vibe and some ice cream. Highly recommend Merle's place for those who are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing and peaceful stay in a small town...

Peter was a great host, he did everything possible to allow us to have a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed to have a stress free, relaxing weekend. He made several recommendations for placing to visit in the area and was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. We would very much recommend staying at Peter’s AirBNB, we felt right at home and would definitely go back!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything we needed. Being in Port Elgin in the fall, having the propane fire pit is perfect. Lots of room for 6 adults. Enjoyed the restaurants and the trails that are close by. We will definitely come back. Thank you Julie Ken and Lorna

Steve’s place is a beautiful old house which he has renovated. It is very clean and comfortable, with a great deck area, under a pergola, where we could barbecue. If it had been warmer, we would have had our dinners out there. The beds are very comfortable. The location is great, within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants, and the beach. Steve is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Easy checkin. Space was bigger than I thought, which was great. Everything we needed to prepare our dinner was available. The PlayStation controller was going to die, we couldn’t find a connection cable, messaged the host and they had the cable at the door within 5 minutes.

Eugene was a fantastic host. The house was perfect for 5 couples. Comfortable beds and a great living area which worked well for a family get together. A special thanks to Eugene. We visited in February and a winter storm developed resulting in massive road closures. We had to extend our stay and Eugene was incredibly helpful in accommodating us for these extra days. We highly recommend this home.

We are repeat customers at the River Merchant Inn, it’s one of our favourite places to stay on our bi-annual trips to Stratford. Fantastic location, beautifully renovated, super comfy beds, 2 squeaky clean bathrooms, washer/dryer and a well stocked kitchen. Everything is new, it’s open, bright and airy, lots of interesting designer touches. Brendan is a very responsive, proactive host, quickly responds to messages and provides excellent instructions and info. You can’t go wrong, highly recommend!

The River Merchant Inn is beautifully appointed space. Comfortable furnishings, cozy fireplace, and the musical theme decor adds a whimsical atmosphere. Fabulous location

Spent the weekend with girlfriends at Debbie’s beautiful condo! We were extremely satisfied with how smooth the check in was and how beautiful the space was! It was in perfect proximity to all of the local eateries and shopping downtown. Debbie gave wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to try. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and provided a perfect place to relax. This place exceeded all of our expectations. We would gladly stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Loved my stay! Quiet, beautiful, and safe. In walking distance to the entire downtown. Hosts accommodated me above and beyond. Will remember this stay fondly!

The place was really spacious and nice. They had some board games and a poker table to play on as well. There was ample and comfortable sleeping space for everyone too. Enough extra bedding and blankets were provided. The kitchen and bathroom counters were all super clean with all necessary items provided, however, the floors could use a little more cleaning. Kendra was also extremely responsive and flexible and provided very clear and helpful instructions for our stay! Overall, a solid 8/10!

Jennifer has been an amazing host , and she’s super responsive to any questions. Location is awesome, love coffee shop in Wine bar in the basement. It’s also really close to downtown and all kinds of restaurants and shopping right off the main drag. The apartment is comfortable. Everything is so clean and tidy

It was a perfect spot for us to celebrate Christmas with other family in the area. Ryan was very responsive to our needs and the perfect host. It is very close to the Biener trails and walkable to the beach area. I would highly recommend this accomodation.

An absolutely wonderful location! Dave was very friendly, helpful, and responded quickly. We were traveling for work, and Dave was very accommodating when our schedule changed and we needed to adjust our arrival time. The apartment is very cozy, well stocked, and both the apartment and the church spaces (entrance/foyer) were beautifully maintained/restored. Only thing of note is that when we booked it was listed as 2 queen beds, but one of the beds was a short twin - the couch is very comfortable though. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay, and I absolutely would book this again if returning to the area!
