It's a nice hideaway for a couple, friends or young family. Local cafes, hotels and shops are a 15 min walk. Perfect for walkers, cyclists & birdwatchers. The host is a local artist and conservationist who helped create the Arran Marine Protected Area. Good to book Calmac ferries at the same time.

We live on site in the section with the tower itself. Located for easy access to Ben Cruachan and many Munros, the Tower of Glenstrae is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and those exploring the historic, visually stunning West coast of Scotland. Now with fast broadband and a great local pub is 5mins walk away!

Wee Coo Byre

Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.

Well equipped one bedroom converted workshop right next to Lochindaal with open plan living/dining area and kitchen, log burning stove, television and free wifi. Bathroom - wc, sink and with an electric shower. Please note when trying to locate us, maps may take you to a group of houses on the opposite of the road to where our accommodation is. We are located on the sea side of the road.
