We had a lovely stay at this property. The house has everything you could possibly need. There are plenty of activities inside and outside of the house. We were 2 families with 5 kids total and everyone was entertained for hours upon hours. The pond was such a lovely addition to our trip. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and watching the wildlife: The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There are plenty of games and toys for kids. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook for a large group. The one down side we encountered was the window coverings in the bedrooms. The blinds don’t fit some windows properly and some of the larger windows don’t have blinds at all so the light comes into the bedrooms early in the mornings. Just something to note for families with small kids who need dark rooms.

Overall had an amazing time and Jamahli was very quick with responding if there were any questions. Check-in and check-out were both extremely easy. Such a beautiful home and area with an amazing view, especially during sunset! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing trip, this is definitely a great place to stay at with amazing hosts! :)

Tom was an amazing host. He was flexible with check in time. Had Benjamin greet us and walk us through the property. He showed us where everything was. Made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and conveniently located. Walking distance to everything in town. I would come again and recommend to others

If you want a place to relax and to feel at home with a peaceful and cozy home you should book with Kyle. His home makes you feel your home while having a safe surrounding in case of an emergency. Also if you have a problem with anything Kyle fast at responding in case of any emergency. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone passing by and needing a place to stay for the night.

great place, the locations is amazing and close to alot to walk to. the place it's self is fantastic. the only downside is the kitchen doesnt have any cooking stuff just a microwave but the restaurants are all around it and east to walk to. definitely worth it.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It was just close enough to Mariposa or Oakhurst for a bite to eat, but it was just far enough to enjoy a nice, quiet time to relax at the house. It is located about 45 minutes from the South Entrance of Yosemite, which was a plus for hikers like us. We definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful home away from home!

Our family of four loved staying at the cabin. It was super walkable to the town, and two fun hiking trails that our young kids did no problem. Louisa and Matson were very accommodating and had a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. We loved it so much we will definitely be returning next year.

Charming cottage! Well-appointed with thoughtful, helpful amenities. Clean and cozy. Lots of local wildlife visible from the windows and backyard (turkeys, deer, geese, quail, etc.). We’re looking forward to staying here again in the near future!

I have resided at Marilyn's cottage years before making for a very pleasant return. Updates to the place were well-placed, improving an already fantastic place. This speaks to Marilyn's eye for the importance of details as it relates to comfort. I would stay again.

Easy check in, the house has everything you need, easy to use. Bathroom is great and the water pressure pretty good.

My family and I had an amazing time here! I brought my 1.5 year old son and I’m glad that they had fun things for the kids and a high chair! The area is beautiful and Yosemite is only an hour away!

This cottage is very charming! My family of four (and dog) felt right at home. Andi was very flexible - she graciously allowed us to check-in early. This cottage is stocked with a full kitchen (which made cooking home meals very easy), the beds are very comfortable (we all slept great) and there were card games to play. We had a lovely stay!

We loved this little cabin! It was so nice being in town. We walked to the coffee shop and to the Trading Post for dinner. The beds were comfy and the space heaters did a great job of keeping us warm! Shaver Lake Sports is right across the street and my husband was able to get snowboard rentals from there before heading up to China Peak.

Hi, Patti’s cabin is great. Located 20 mins to the southern entrance of Yosemite, mins away from town, and situated right in the woods. The cabin has everything you need - towels, shampoo, blow dryer, extra sheets, games, streaming tv, iron, utensils, etc. Beds were comfortable.

great place to stay for a quick ride to Yosemite (1 h 15 min). Cosy and quiet, very nice place and well equipped, very clean and tidy - highly recommended!

Place was clean and comfortable, We were family with 2 kids, so place was perfect for 4. We did not use the upstairs loft, but that could easy host 2 more people. or could be converted into an entertainment zone. Beautiful surrounds, enjoyed morning walk. It was too wet for kids to go down to the creek, but it would be perfect place when it gets warmer. Turkeys in the morning was a surprise. There is no AT&T signal and Internet speed was slow and unreilable.

When I booked the place Vicki reached out to let me know the location is right next to a bar. It is indeed RIGHT NEXT TO a bar. I found the noise to be pretty easily drowned out by turning on the fan in the bedroom and the noise didn’t really bother me. The place is extremely convenient to restaurants and bars in town and the walkability makes it worthwhile. That said, if you’re looking for more of a peace-and-quiet stay or if you are very sensitive to noise, it may not be for you. There are two other little cottages next door that are one and two more doors down from the bar though, so if those are available and otherwise the same setup they might be a better option for those wanting a little more quiet but still convenience. Vicky was a great and responsive host. Would definitely stay with her again.

Greg and Michalene’s Shambala home was the perfect stay for our Yosemite trip! the home is about an hour (give or take) from the Arch Rock entrance which gives amazing car drive views throughout. The property is super private, surrounded by nature and it was a great spot to relax after hours of hiking for the past 3 days. the attention to detail in the home didn’t go unnoticed, Greg and Michalenes home was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. they were extremely attentive and easy to communicate with. Will be back for future Yosemite trips
