We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Wonderful location, there is an open area nearby where aurora was visible in the night.

Bon rapport qualité prix. Très propre. Bon emplacement (aéroport à 20 minutes / arrêt de bus à 20m / 2 supermarchés de proximité à 5 minutes en voiture) Endroit calme Nous avons adoré le sauna. Quelques petits défauts: manque quelques ustensiles, la chambre du fond reste un peu moins chaudes du reste de la maison. Nous conseillons ce logement.

Chalé com 3 quartos, muito confortável, zona e exterior muito bonita e cuidada. Com sauna, jacuzzi exterior, máquina lavar roupa e louça, cozinha bem equipada. Recomendo tanto no inverno como no verão. Fica a 25 min do centro de Rovaniemi. O hotel Ártic Snow hotel com o bar de gelo fica a 1,5 km de distância. Anfitrião sempre contactavel.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Rovaniemi chez Mari. Nous avons apprécié le confort et le côté cosy du logement et tout particulièrement le sauna qui a été le bienvenu le soir après une journée passée au froid Tout a été parfait, je recommande ce logement.

We recently stayed in Minnas house and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful inside and is very cozy and homely. It has fantastic views out the back looking over the frozen lake and there is a little hill down to the lake which the kids used for sledding (Minna had lots of sleighs left outside for the kids to use which was very kind). The location is great as its in a little quite neighborhood in nature but also only a short drive to shops and the centre. Minna is a great host and is very reachable and quick to answer any questions. Thanks for having us.

Sehr saubere und gute Unterkunft. Wir haben die Handtücher, Bettbezüge und den Whirlpool mit gebucht, alles war super vorbereitet und so konnten wir etwas Gepäck sparen. die Unterkunft ist etwas von der Stadtmitte entfernt aber man kann auch zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus in die Stadt gehen. Mikko war immer sofort erreichbar. Im großen und ganzen hat es uns sehr gefallen. Danke!

Cosy cabin is exactly that, warm and cosy. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed our stay in ounasvaara woods. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location in the middle of stunning walking trails. 5 min walk to a viewing point where we saw the northern lights. The cabin was equipped with everything needed for our 3 night stay, including sleds for the kids. Kaisa was a great host and very kind to allow us a late checkout.

We enjoyed our stay in Rovaniemi, thanks to this lovely apartment. Everything was right. Spacious, very well equipped, good (large) bed and quiet. Warm! Great location, at the edge of the city centre, but not in the busy tourist streets. In the vicinity of supermarkets and restaurants, and all the travel offices. Lauri is a very nice host, so friendly. He responded very fast.

Excellent logement très fonctionnel, il y a même un peu de courses dans le frigo au même prix qu'au supermarché. Machine à laver et lave vaisselle très pratique à 8 avec 4 enfants. Super jardin avec barbecue extérieur et beaucoup de luges et de jeux pour les enfants. Niina et Tapio sont d'une grande gentillesse et disponible. Leur maison est superbe et idéalement situé toutes les activités et aéroport sont à moins de 15 minutes en voiture, location de voiture indispensable surtout avec des enfants pour ne pas rester dans le froid en attendant le bus. Nous avons été tous malades donc nous n'avons pas profité de leur très beau sauna. Rovaniemi est une ville très sympa, les habitants, médecins, samu et pharmaciens sont tous très gentils et accueillants. Nous recommandons à 100%. Des vacances inoubliables des levés et couchés de soleil magnifique des nuits étoilées, il faut venir une semaine minimum car la vie est ralentie à cause de l'ensoleillement et le froid. A réserver sans hésiter

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We stayed for one Night and everything was just fine. The Apartment was easy to find and it was just like the photos. The only thing we missed: some essentials for cooking like salt and pepper. But other than that our stay was great.

A nice and clean place, the owner is very helpful, you have a shop nearby, a parking place, a nice veranda and a very friendly dog, I definitely recommend.

Wir hatten einen erstklassigen Aufenthalt bei Janne. Alles hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Jannes Unterkunft ist geräumig und verfügt über eine private Sauna sowie einen Kamin, welche wir auch ausgiebig nutzten. Die Unterkunft ist auch ein perfekter Startpunkt für viele Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Auch die Ausrüstungen, die Janne anbietet, waren alle in einem sehr guten Zustand. Wir haben Janne zwar nicht persönlich gesehen, weil wir auch jedes Mal unterwegs waren, aber er ist ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit erreichbar war. Der Check-In und der Checkout war einfach und unkompliziert. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

If you're looking for a peaceful cottage right on the lake, this is it! The location was ideal and we got so much use out of the provided sleds and long walks on the frozen lake. The hosts are very organized and made everything crystal clear. One of our favorite activities we did came from their list of recommendations! We got to see some faint Northern Lights, on a clearer day I think this location is far enough from the city to see them well. Very happy with our choice to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed coming ‘home’ after a day of activities to the house. The sauna warms you up immediately. Evenings are too short when watching your favourite show on the home cinema. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything is available. Great place for relaxing.

Leuk, ruim huis met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Sommige delen zijn wat verouderd, en het zou wat beter schoon gemaakt mogen worden. Maar verder is het een prima huis. De buitensauna is erg fijn en netjes. We kregen duidelijke instructies van Ragnar over het huis en de sauna’s. Het balkon is ideaal om vanuit de woonkamer snel naar buiten te kunnen om het Noorderlicht goed te kunnen bekijken. Ook de buitenruimte is groot, en ideaal om te sleeën of spelen. In de omgeving zijn mooie wandel en ski gebieden. Wij hebben een mooie tocht gemaakt via The Old Postoffice Sweden. Een aanrader. En breng ook zeker een bezoek aan Forest Jewels, waar de Sami hun gemaakte spullen verkopen. Fijn ook dat Ragnar makkelijk te bereiken was en steeds bereid om te hulp te bieden waar nodig.

I had an incredible time staying at Svetlana’s cabin! The location was perfect and a short drive to Santa Claus Village and the perfect getaway place to Lapland. The space itself was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and comfortable. Svetlana was very tentative and checkin on us to ensure we got everything we need. She even notify us the Aurora outside our cabin!

Ein magischer Aufenthalt in Lappland! Wir danken euch von ganzem Herzen für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses haben wir gespürt, wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ihr in jedes Detail gesteckt habt, ohne diese wäre es nur halb so schön gewesen. Das Haus ist nicht nur geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch perfekt ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Die warme, gemütliche Atmosphäre hat uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen lassen, ein wahres Wintermärchen. Und ein Highlight waren die Polarlichter. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: verschneite Landschaften, absolute Ruhe und dennoch perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge in die Natur oder nach Rovaniemi. Wir konnten uns keinen besseren Ort vorstellen, um Lappland zu erleben. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft und all die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 💝✨

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Villa Sofia on aivan uskomattoman rauhallisella ja kauniilla paikalla mutta samalla kaikki palvelut ovat vain 10-15min automatkan päässä. Kaikki tarvittava löytyy mökistä ja jos olisimme olleet pidempään niin myös rantasaunan lämmittäminen olisi ollut aivan mahtava iltapäivän puuhastelu. Muutaman autominuutin päästä löytyi myös Puuluodon haastava valaistulatu. Juhanin kanssa kommunikointi oli todella nopeaa ja helppoa ja tunsimme olemme heti tervetulleiksi.

Dawno nie byliśmy w tak cudownym miejscu. Niesamowity, klimatyczny dom, pełen Muminków i wszystkich dogodności. Idealny dla rodzin z dziećmi i dla łowców zorzy polarnej. Świetny dojazd autobusem nr 8 do centrum, blisko market, w samym domu nie można się nudzić - pełno planszówek, książek o zabawek. Nawet jest w środku huśtawka. Całość uzupełnia sauna i jacuzzi. Pani właścicielka wspaniała. Totalna bajka ❤️
