The guesthouse is only a 5 minute drive from nature reserves such as Mt Majura and Mt Ainslie and there are many Canberra region wineries within a 30 minute drive. This private self-contained unit occupies the entire top floor of a modern house in tree-lined Braddon with a stunning view of Mt Ainslie. It has a private keyless system, spacious living room, functional kitchen, balcony and is located near shops and public transport. The unit is fully insulated with a split ductless system to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. It's a short walk to cafes, bars and restaurants on Lonsdale street, and another short walk to Canberra's CBD.

Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)

Designed by a local architect, the light-flooded space is a great base for trips to the nation’s capital.
