My partner and I spent ten days in Carolyn's apartment and really loved it. The other reviews say it all - the space is quite ingeniously set up, so that even though it's a relatively small apartment, it has distinct spaces for working, sleeping, chilling etc. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed down to an umbrella. Perhaps most touchingly, it's been decorated and set up with a real sense of personality - the best kind of AirBnB. Thank you for having us Carolyn!

Lovely apartment right in the heart of the action, just off Chapel Street in Melbourne's most vibrant neighbourhood. Very convenient for tram routes to the city centre and Richmond. Very safe and secure. Excellent hostess.

I stayed for three nights and loved the place. Walking distance to all essentials- public transport, eateries, shopping. Easy check in, felt safe and secure. Will be back!

We visited the property for my husband's 40th birthday and were blown away. The beautiful ranch is an animal lovers paradise. We saw kangaroos, bunnies and kookaburras before entering the farm. upon arrival were greeted by Audrey the dog who stayed with us the whole day as our guide. The barn cats were always up for cuddles day and night. The absolutely gorgeous property is a delight to walk around with horses and ponies galloping over inquisitively for a quick stroke. Needless to say were were saying hi to the horses through the day. Leanne and her team did an excellent job of preparing a lovely picnic for us and dinner. We were greeted upon arrival and shown around the the logistics which were clean, warm and well maintained. The apartment was right next to the training arena, so wole up to see horses training. The biggest personality at the property was the cuckatoo who talks and dances if you day hi 😁. In the evening we had the spa to ourselves underneath the stars and it was soooo relaxing. We left with our hearts full. The ranch is very close to Emerald which has lovely cafes and excellent coffee at the stick and stones. I wish Avoca Park the best and hope they continue thriving.

We had a very pleasant stay, close to many great eateries and as well as a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for anyone travelling through Melbourne.

When we saw the photos of this loft, my partner and I knew we would love it-- and we did! Beautiful and interesting architecture and interior design and right in the heart of tons of interesting restaurants and bars. Would love to stay again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay. We used it as a base to travel to Melbourne which we were able to do from South Geelong Station which was only about 10 minutes drive and had free parking at the station. Near the Loft was a general store, laundromat and restaurants within easy walking distance. It had the normal distant road noises but was fairly quiet location. Unless you like microwave food you cannot cook but we did grab pizza and other foods locally or while we were in Melbourne. As it was just my teen son and myself they made sure there was an extra mattress and bedding which was great. The room has adequate heating or cooling, but kept a nice ambient temperature. What was important for me was that we felt safe and the fact that our car had an off road, carport with roller door access, made it feel all the more secure. (There were no safety issues locally just a personal preference) Would definitely stay there again. Thank you 🙏🌼

Lanie's loft apartment is a great place to stay in central Melbourne. It's well-thought-out with nice furniture and all the kitchen equipment you might need. The upstairs half bath is handy when you need to pee in the middle of the night. Degraves street, where it's located, is a narrow pedestrian lane lined with restaurants, ice cream vendors, bakers, chocolatiers, and the occasional small curio shop. It couldn't be more centrally located. All the tourist attractions are within a half-hour walk, and Flinders Street Station is practically at your front door. We had some small difficulty finding and obtaining the keys, but Lanie was very responsive about that. We'd definitely stay there again.

Great location with secure parking. The free tram meant we didn't have to move the car once parked and could enjoy exploring the city easily. Lots of food options and great coffee within walking distance was a plus. The pool was a big hit with the kids and was a very pleasant space to relax. Rendy was available for any questions and was a premium host! The loft had plenty of space for everyone. Thanks Rendy, you provide a wonderful home away from home!

We had a wonderful stay at Dora’s gorgeous studio apartment! The space is beautifully decorated with lots of plants and lovely art, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is fantastic—surrounded by great restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made our stay even more comfortable. Dora was an excellent host—very communicative and helpful throughout. We stayed here in the days around our wedding, and it was the perfect place for such a special time. Highly recommend!

A very cosy and welcoming apartment, really enjoyed the private space! Living space was clean, and we had all the necessary amenities to live there like cooking and eating utensils, washing machines and dryers and soap & shampoo. Host was also responsive and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

A comfortable and tasteful studio apartment. A unique experience. Very quiet and private. Very close to the beautiful beach and a major traffic thoroughfare. Has a small bathroom which people should be aware of. Host was very attentive even while on holiday in Europe. Great for one to two people. Does also have a single bed.
