Takayuki-san is very warm, welcoming and helpful. We always have a little chat when we meet. He cares about how I feel about my stay and my trip in Kofu. It feels like home during my stay. The room is big and cozy. I was staying in a tatami room. It is a special experience. There are convenience shop, supermarket, restaurants within the area. A bus stop is right outside of the house. I would definitly recommand this room and other rooms hosted by Takayuki-san.

Mii-san and Aki-san are wonderful people. Please stay here if you will like to experience a warm, friendly, and comfortable place. I had an excellent time talking to the couple and playing with their three cats. They have shared a lot of wisdom and warmth towards me, even though I was unable to communicate well in Japanese. Aki-san shared that his philosophy for their AirBNB is for guests to "feel happy/laugh 3 times": the first time is when they check-in to the place, the second time when we have a meal together, and the third is when we check-out. Indeed, Mii-san and Aki-san have fulfilled this philosophy much more than they have planned. I felt happy when I came back home from my outing, and when I greeted them good morning/good night. I came on this trip alone but left with people I hope to visit again. Please take care of yourselves! If time allows, I will love to stay in this home again.

Meine zwei Nächte bei Wakoh und ihrer Familie waren fantastisch. Der Checkin verläuft problemlos, man ist komplett autonom. Die Lage des Hauses ist auf der anderen Seite, ländlich und total ruhig, man ist aber trotzdem in 20 Minuten zu Fuß spätestens im Zentrum. Ganz tolle Tipps bekommt man von der Gastgebern. Die Familie ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit, die zwei Hunde sind super schön und stören überhaupt nicht. Wakoh Bereite ein sehr leckeres Frühstück zu. Sie gibt viele Ideen und hat auch Fahrservice angeboten. Die anderen Gäste waren auch sehr nett. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

We loved staying at Machiko's. The room was comfortable (it gets cold in the area but there are heaters and heated blankets provided), we stayed in the room with tatami mats and futons. The bathroom is a shared one, it was clean and we didn't encounter any difficulties. We also met Shanti the resident cat, we love him! The house is near lake shoji which is absolutely gorgeous and has an incredible view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. It’s not as crowded as the other areas closer to the train station, so we didn't encounter any crowds nearby. Machiko was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations, she suggested we take a hike to a viewpoint nearby which was really nice. 100% recommend!

I had such an amazing time at Sachio-San's place. He's such a friendly and kind man, and it was great to talk to him. He also made me delicious breakfast and was driving me to the station, so kind of him! The room is very spacious, quiet and nice. It takes some time to get from the station to his place, but with a taxi or his driving services it's no problem. Thank you for the great time Sachio, I hope we see each other again someday!!

Staying with Miyagi and Yen was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. We were welcomed into their beautiful home with so much kindness and warmth - we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were highly responsive over message and very accommodating - offering to pick us up and drop us off at the station every time we wanted to explore other areas of Japan. The house was very spacious and clean. We can’t recommend this airbnb enough - please check them out if you ever need to stay in Kawagoe!

easily one of the best accommodations i’ve stayed at! wakana-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and the food she prepared for breakfast was delicious. there is an option to have dinner here as well but only subject to availability and you would need to pay separately - it is worth the money though, very good italian food. apart from that, she borrowed me a bicycle to travel around to nearby locations and there’s also an onsen-style tub for us to use. i really appreciate the help, thank you wakana-san and everyone at otto. i’ll be back when i can!

Truly Japanese experience! This home is surrounded by beautiful views ^^ And the couple was so friendly and offered us a lot of helpful advice about sightseeing :) We had a great trip thanks to them! If I’m ever in the area again, I will surely come visit them!!

食事も部屋も大満足でした。初回利用だったのですが、宿までのアクセスの説明であったり、到着後のコミュニケーションもとても丁寧で気持ちよかったです。 また機会があれば宿泊させていただきたいです。

I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.

Peace One is a special place and Jun is a master host! Excellent dinners, breakfast and coffee. Very relaxing environment, onset is lovely, the house is magical and unique. Hiking up the mountain is recommended, medium difficulty for beginners. This was my favourite stay in Japan so far. Thank you for everything!

標高1000m以上の場所にあり、夏でもとても快適に過ごせ、施設内もとても清潔で温泉も新しく旅の疲れを癒せます。 ウッドテラスで朝食を食べられ、朝食も美味しく緑があり最高の朝を迎えられます。 オーナーの方もとても明くる良い方で色々細かい所まで、気を使って頂きホスピタリティも完璧です。 自然の中でユッタリ休日を過ごしたい方にオススメの宿です。

We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

The place as described, clean and you have for yourself 2 bedrooms next to each other. Towels and breakfast provided. The beakfast upon your request and very traditional. We stayed family of 3 and it was enough space for all. The laundry came very handy. As for location it is perfect as you can travel anywhere by car. Mt.Fuji can be seen from various locations. Definitely nice town, lakes region, and home to come back to.!

Wir hatten insgesamt drei Nächt bei Jun. und Kimiko. Am Ankunftstag hat uns Jun. angeboten vom Bahnhof Kawaguchiko abzuholen. Währen der Heimfahrt hat er uns gefragt, ob wir Lust haben auf die Pagode zu gehen, da zu der Zeit wenige Touristen dort waren. Es war einfach ein unglaublicher Einstieg! Nach einer Stunde hat er uns abgeholt und wir sind zur Unterkunft gefahren. Zudem könnten wir auf den kurzen Autofahren viel über die Region und allgemein der japanischen Kultur lernen. Eines unserer Highlights war zudem die Möglichkeit zu Onsen. Auch, wenn mal alle Zeitslots an einem Abend belegt waren, hat uns Jun. einen Zweiten Onsen-Raum vorbereitet.
